Ms. California will get far more out of this than whoever the hell actually won the contest. Nobody is talking about her.

“...not simply to understand and tolerate other people, but to actively support sin and to be intolerant of those who suggest there is any such thing as sin....”

Those of “that” persuasion on the left are THE MOST INTOLERANT slugs you could find. To them, it’s their way or off to the re-education camps with you. But we HAVE to tolerant of them. NO WAY!

So the Miss USA pageant is nothing but a homosexual contest?? So “Miss USA” could also be a dood? Why limit it to women?? Maybe some of them ARE men! Yuck!

You’re not seriously suggesting that Miss California entered that pageant to win lost souls, are you?

If I go any farther, we’ll have to debate the questionable morals involved in young Christian ladies parading around in public half clothed, and that’s a different discussion entirely.

Carrie’s quandry was more akin to that of the prodigal son eating with pigs, or the Israelites whose society was corrupted by the heathen around them.

“Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. . . “ I Cor. 6:14-18

How disgusting. Miss California was better off losing this disgusting travesty.

The young lady is crowned with true honour ... worth far more than a "Miss USA" sash.

Why was the question asked in the first place ?

Because that fat, ugly, obnoxious freak with a nom-de-plume that's a mockery of another vapid celebrity's given name is also a militant rump-ranger.

Hmmm.. I thought it was more like Cynthia McKinney, or that other brain trust Shiela Jackson Lee...

And these people, according to leftist definition, are the best and brightest their districts have to offer.

Perez hilton had no business being a judge in the first place. What could someone like him possibly know aobut judging female attractiveness? Besides, who is Perez Hilton? Some twerp who blogs about the social lives of celebrities?

Further, “he” had no business asking such a question. How is it in any way relevant to being Miss USA? Does it relate to anything the winner will be doing?

Does Miss USA retain that title if she also wins Miss Universe?

What kind of question is that to ask anyway, why don’t they do away with the question part and end this freakin’ political BS nonsense. I’m stick of this news story, let the word of God ring true and every man be a liar ...

“She has concentrated her time and effort into training for and parading around half naked in pageants....”

I applaud her bravery, but one of the attributes of a Christian woman is supposed to be modest apparel. I guess she never read that part of the Bible.

I, as a Christian, have never had an issue with beauty contests per se because I believe that celebrating Gods creations cannot be a sin.

1 Timothy 2: 9 "Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments," NIV version

Why was the question asked in the first place ?

Because it was a setup, plain and simple.

Here was a contestant from California, a state that voted out same sex marriage twice, a contestant that they could make a point with no matter which way she answered. If she would have sounded out in support of gay marriage they would have used her like a trophy touting, "see she's from California and she supports gay marriage. It's sooooo terrible that California is oppressing it's people."

I do not think they expected what she DID say but they are making the most of all of the offensiveness of it.

I think that if Miss America is going to represent the country as a whole then the questions that they ask these contestants should be thought up by and then voted on by a cross section of the country.

"“Barack Obama was asked whether he supported gay marriage when he was running for President. Barack Obama said no, and I agree with Barack Obama.”

Absolutely. I remember during the campaign, McCain (for whatever reason) decided to go on the Ellen show. Of course this came up and it was an uncomfortable moment for McCain. It wouldn't have been an uncomfortable moment if he would have used a answer similar to yours above.

This was shortly after the Saddleback Church debate when Obama said, almost verbatim, what you suggest. But, there was no outcry, no outrage and no complaints from the Homo mafia.
