I am offended, just like an old-fashioned feminist. So, I’m sure, is Mother Gaia herself. Offended, because Obama’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has just officially declared carbon dioxide (CO2) to be a poison. (Sigh.)
You can’t even expel air anymore without ticking off our PC commissars.
Did you know you can die from drinking too much distilled water? Or from breathing too much pure oxygen? Oxidation products actually kill people — they cause a huge variety of fatal diseases. The only solution is to stop breathing.
All the molecules of life are also molecules of death. The old medicos used to say, “It’s the dose that makes the poison.” Perfectly safe substances can kill you if you take enough of them, or if you use the wrong channels to put them into your body. Inject fresh mountain air into your veins and you’re dead. You can choke on a nice big vitamin pill.
All substances are potential poisons, but if you’re Obama’s EPA you make it CO2. Wonder why?...

The EPA is headquartered in Ann Arbor, just to the west of Detroit, or just to the left of Detroit, both on the map and ideologically.
EPA employs the engineers and scientists who graduated at the bottom of their classes, the ones who couldn't get on with one of the Big Three, or who were fired from a job at the Big Three for being blithering incompetents.
So, surprise, surprise! They have a real grudge-on against our auto makers and anyone associated with them.

It is truly absurd, especially since the premise being used to ram this down our throats is wrong (global warming).
CO2 in the current cooling environment is good across the board, from whatever small warming effect to increased crop production.

Rather than using .03%, let's use part per million so I don't have to convert stuff.
Minimum CO2 needed in atmosphere is 200 ppm.
Less than that, and plant life starts dying off.
1000 ppm will kill mammals and probably birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, etc.
Maybe insects would be OK.
750 ppm makes humans "light headed" and somewhat confused, so let's say a maximum "safe" range for humans is probably 700 ppm.
Present CO2 level is approx. 380 to 385 ppm.
My guess, "optimum" level for CO2 would probably be 450 to 500 ppm.
It would be good for agriculture, and still be well within the safe range for human life.
This is a joke.
Where in the Constitution does it set up provisions for the EPA?

Farmers use greenhouses to raise their CO2 for a more optimal level for plant growth. Many believe we are deficient on CO2, global alarmist don't agree.
we do know that man contributes about 3.4% of the total CO2. If we continued on our present course we can never get to a toxic.

At least we have lots of nice caves hereabout. Damp, but not too cold or too hot. (98% humidty, 71 degrees or near that depending on the cave) Many virtually unexplored too. Quite likely many undiscovered as well, but a little work with a thumper truck would fix that.

Plants respire in addition to photosynthesizing. Excessive plant growth in a pond can deplete the O2 supply dissolved in the water due to plant respiration, and cause a fish kill.
The average temperature today is around 15 deg C.
think about it for a second. ALL scientists will agree with this point that we are in a brief warm period during the middle of an ice age, it is just a matter of time when we plunge back into the cold period of the ice age that we are experiencing. It isn't a matter of 'if' it is a matter of when.
While we are screwing around with global warming the real threat is the coming ice age. It could be a thousand years off or it could be tomorrow we only know it usually happens suddenly. I would expect 2/3's of the population of the earth will die if not more.

Well who will we pay the estimated $3,700 a year extra we will be charged for producing CO2. The IMF (the International Monetary Fund) or other world organization. That helps fund the One World Government and the policing to make sure we are only producing our “fair share”. Of course this helps finance our own slavery.
If you buy into the fact that CO2 is a “bad gas” then you get taxes and then get World Government. This will further collapse the US Government. This of course is one of the goals of the New World Order. Wake up out there.
These people cut their teeth on the radical 60's notion that our world was going to die because of man and overpopulation.
It is not surprising they want to place limits on CO2 emissions because they want to p;ace limits on mankind itself.
Today's environmental laws will become the basis for tomorrows population control. China's "one child" law is not very far from us.
