...Michigan Rep. Pete Hoekstra, ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said former CIA chief Michael Hayden is right in saying that Obama's treatment of the interrogation programs could have a chilling effect on agents' ability to operate in the field.
"It lessens security," Hoekstra told FOXNews.com. "If you've got an intelligence community that's unwilling to take a risk and being very timid ... guess what? You don't have an intelligence community. You've got a bureaucracy."
... Obama often talked during the campaign about how he wanted to "restore America's world standing," which had "suffered" under the Bush administration and as a result of the Iraq war [WOT]. ...
Hoekstra called the image campaign "shallow." Regarding the interrogation program, he said Obama was on one hand claiming he wanted to put that chapter behind him while on the other hand opening the door for a months-long firestorm on Capitol Hill over the issue.

if the dems have a banana republic show trial,
this could be the end of the obama presidency.
I just read a headline, recently posted article on FR, that congressional dems are going ahead with a tribunal. Damn traitors deserve to hang.
So, you could say then that Obama’s administration SOBP
If these show trials do take place, the Republicans need to grow a pair and insist Pelosi, Reid, and the other dumbocrates be made to testify because they were also briefed and approved the same techniques they are condemning the last administration for.
But alas, I see this as total BS and a typical political distraction as well as a chance for the idiots in the majority to exercise their power...
That fact isn’t going to deter them at all, practiced liars that they are. They will eventually answer, though, to those who see through their deceits. They are worse than the jihadists they defend.
I wish so, but the communist King Obama and his corrupt RAT thugs are an insult to real America and they are in complete power. The RAT party is anti-American and need to be thrown out and talk will not do it.
It’s image winning over substance.
They don’t even bother with symbolism.
This regime’s disclosure of CIA memos is called “going for the jugular.” Hijacker Hussein couldn’t be giving a more clear signal of his agenda. I salute Hoekstra for speaking up. If we wonder why about the silence on our side, we need to remember Curt Weldon, his political career ruined after he investigated Able Danger.
We are scared here at FR and on the conservative airwaves, but too many Americans are not scared at all. That is what the traitors count on.
