The judge probably has his home page set to riaa.com.
Oops, this is Sweden, nevermind.
“A defense lawyer in the Pirate Bay file-sharing case said Thursday he will demand a retrial after the judge admitted he was a member of copyright protection organizations. “
I should say so!
Those TPB guys are the only foreigners I like.
> Those TPB guys are the only foreigners I like.
Don’t forget Mininova, my favorite. Better looking interface but doesn’t have the same teeth and directories that TPB is famous for. TPB has vowed never to pay up and it;s still running. Try reading up on every TPB response to company C&D letters in their forums and it’s pure comedy.
thank goodness civil law countries don’t have juries to deal with
What is conservative about stealing?
I hope TPB previals. Any entity that deprives the Hollywood Left of money is A-OK in my book.
Nothing. What made you think that?
demonoid.com, ‘nother good one if you can catch an open registration period.
Because several people are talking about using such sites - this being a conservative forum I thought I would ask why conservatives would steal.
That’s true, but I have noticed they post under h33t in mini. One can say they’re pretty much a private tracker based on the registration process but they claim they’re not.
have you been to one of the sites mentioned in this thread?
Yes.
But I don’t download from them.
You can choose private or public..Their difference is on the private side, they filter out the bad IP’s that spawn bogus traffic and bad chunks.
Do know of a site called Hulu and do you watch shows on that site?
Some say that posting and discussing news articles on FreeRepublic is a violation of copyright. Some say that public lending libraries are a violation of copyright. How do you feel about those alleged violations?
There was just a news article on FR about Dept. of Homeland Security canceling newspaper and magazine subscriptions because those were available to read on internal government websites.
BTW, I have never used Pirate Bay.
So called "IP" IS different from physical property. Nothing was stolen in the physical sense. In fact, the use of the word "stolen" is inappropriate.
Well, Azureus has it’s own plug-in which replaces safepeer or peerguardian which does the job but people who use utorrent still prefer the SF/PG apps as a safeguard.
