I just hope for your sake you’re prepared for the results in 2010 and 2012!

The libs are so in love with the results of the last two elections they think they're a permanent majority. They have no clue these tea parties are an early warning sign of trouble ahead, that many don't like the direction Zero is headed.

Bill Ritter wasn't as extreme, but he's been doing similar things here since he was elected governor, acting like we're a blue state and doing lots of stuff to bash business and raise taxes and spending. The latest polls show his support has fallen to close to 40% and he's upside down with unfavorables greater than favorables.

It took about two years for this to filter down from the political class and business community to the average voter, but once it happens, it's big, big trouble for that politician. Like Zero, Ritter had very little political experience and didn't realize the delayed impact that nutty stuff can have.

Why is it that I suspect Bill Maher is going to be among the first guys to line up in Iowa with a chicken under their arm and ask for a marriage license.

Bill Maher: Divorced from sanity, and decency he shows his true self...shape shifter masquerading as a human being.

When he graduates from the adolescent masturbation stage of genital humor perhaps then he could offer advice on how to get over obsessions. Until then...

When I saw this “op/ed” was written by Bill Maher, I immediately disregarded it.

Bill Maher is one of the last people I want accusing the GOP (or anyone for that matter) of being divorced from reality.

Bill Maher sincerely cares about the Republican Party.

Is he saying Democrats aren’t clinging to their global warming, their pro abortion, pro open borders, anti gun, anti home-schooling, anti individual, anti liberty agendas? What Maher considers rightwing ignorance to be would not exist if it didn’t counter genuine leftwing ignorance. For instance. If Americans weren’t obsessed with killing babies, we Christians (religion) wouldn’t protest what is going on. If Americans would drop their silly obsession with the faux science of globalist warming, we should quit pointing out the errors of anti carbon thinking. If leftwing Statists would get over their obsession with taking our guns, we would put them in our safes, and quit clinging to them. Do you see my point Bill? But while we are at it, don’t pretend Republicans don’t have any serious counters to the radical, leftist extremism being forced upon Americans in the areas of the economy, healthcare and education. We aren’t going to concede the cultural issues just because there are economic and social issues to debate. That is, unless the left wants to concede those cultural issues to us. If you aren’t willing to go there, stuff it.

If conservatives don't want to be seen as bitter people who cling to their guns and religion and anti-immigrant sentiments, they should stop being bitter and clinging to their guns, religion and anti-immigrant sentiments.

Dear Jesus,
I am writing to tell you that I have decided to abandon you. You see, people like Bill don't like me if I love you. That makes me so sad, because Bill is a Very Important Man with his own TV show. Jesus, where's your TV show?

Since reading Bill's article, I now understand that liberty and justice for all isn't cool... it's much better to be liked by Bill and his friends! Besides, freedom is hard, what with all that work and all. From now on, I am going to stop bitterly clinging to you and embrace my loving and caring liberal government. It promises to take care of me so I don't have to worry about things as hateful as success, free speech, and individual responsibility.

I'm sorry if you feel offended, Jesus, but when you said that we'd be hated by the world just like you were, I didn't think you were serious.

See ya later,
Z

The problem is, youth actually believe that Maher, Franken,Stewart, Colbert have facts that mean something in the political debate. It is sad and it is just now an overwhelming position that the uninformed still dominate the electoral process. Nothing, except the Tea deals, have shown me that Pubs, Indies, Conservs have any more impact on national electoral results. At least so far. This is sad.

Oh, I know. It’s so unfortunate. I was just talking with a 20-year-old at my place of employment the other day, and he stated with a very straight face that he only watches The Daily Show and Colbert for his news, because they tell it like it is, and because he likes satire — of course, not even realizing the contradiction in terms inherent in that statement, or the stupidity of getting all one’s information about the world from two comedy shows. Pathetic.
