Apparently American Thinker is getting low on think.

I click on the link for the article, expecting a conservative web site, but what comes up but an ad drawing people to sign a petition to establish a marxist ‘Health Care’ system.

They’re about as sharp as McPain. If they care so little about who advertises on their site, how smart can they be?

It is a conservative web site. Maybe some malicious programming placed it. Why are you looking at ads?

Mskes me wonder how our side can take advantage of this. Only thing holding us back is our decency and lack of duplicitousness.

It’s a dangerous tool, and it corrupts the cultures in which it is used.

During the 1930s, Europe became increasingly a hell-hole, as Nazis, Fascists, and Communists all jockeyed for power and all demonized their targets left and right. I think the better solution is to educate people to understand it when people use this type of propaganda, and learn to analyze it for themselves.

That’s difficult, of course, when the left controls the schools and universities. But it really needs to be done if we are to recover our free country.

"Why are you looking at ads?"

It's right at the top of the page. Why would they advertise for the far left?

This is good, all certainly true, but Comrade Obamsky is also a product of Gramsci’s second-generation Marxist book of tactics, at least by degree—the degree being his real mentors, Billy Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn and Jeremiah Wright. Google Dohrn’s demented revolutionary Marxist writings, or read the FBI background stuff on Dohrn and Ayers.

Revolutionary Marxism was the approach to takeover that Castro passed along to the Weather Undergrounders way back in the 1960s when they visited Cuba. Dohrn and Ayers were convinced even back then that creating black Marxist leaders was the key, and in Obamsky they found their perfect front man. Ayers wrote his books, his poltiical career was launched in their living room, the personality cult developed, and the rest is (nightmarish) history.

My favorite Alinsky quote (so far):
A racially integrated community is a chronological term timed from the
entrance of the first black family to the exit of the last white family.

— Saul Alinsky
Reminds me of how white farmers are being driven out of a certain African nation by a certain thug.

A truly masterful article, but I believe I can help him fill a gap.

Lewis writes...” Obama’s first boyhood mentor was the CPUSA’s guy in Hawaii, a black man filled with racial rage and resentment, and little Barry was handed on from one radical friend to the next, in a long chain by way of Harvard Law to the Chicago Democrat Machine. The one big gap in his autobiography is his college years at Columbia,”

That gap is explainable.

In 1982 when 0bama transferred from Occidental to Columbia there was a certain Bill Ayers studying less than a quarter mile from Columbia at Bank Street College of Education. Ayers and 0bama had mutual friends, one of which was 0bama’s English professor, Edward Said.

The two of them were in close proximity of each other and moved in the same circles for over three years. It is incomprehensible that they would not have met. And, given the constant intertwining of their lives from that point on it is beyond coincidence.

For instance, 0bama moves to Ayers’ home town from New York, Ayers follows a few years later.

0bama gets into Harvard on the recommendation of someone who is a close friend of Ayers father.

0bama gets a summer job at the law firm that has Ayers father as a major client (which is where he meets Michelle).

0bama serves with Ayers on the board of the Woods Foundation.

Ayers picks 0bama (who he supposedly didn’t know) to chair the Chicago Annenberg Challenge..

0bama and Ayers have Offices on the same floor of the same building in Chicago.

All this before he supposedly met Ayers as “just some guy in his neighborhood”

So James Lewis is right when he says “ little Barry was handed on from one radical friend to the next,..”

Ayers was, and still is, a significant and very dangerous part of that chain.

Better yet, close the Republican Primaries to keep them from trashing ours...

Sometimes you don’t have any control over the ads that a provider places on your website (if you are trying to support it by selling adspace). This is true of “free” websites as well and explains why weird and totally irrelevant ads show up on them.

Those are Google Ads.

Those ads are driven by keywords on the page.

I use Google Ads and on pages where I'm referencing Muslims (usually referring to the words Obama and/or Muslim) I will get ads for Muslim dating services and ads meant for Obots.

American Thinker has nothing to do with the ad selection and/or content.

Excellent article. James Lewis is rapidly becoming one of my favorite writers.

The phenomenon of the well-off child turning into the radical Marxist is still a puzzling one, but I think it really is, as he implies, a psychological issue. It’s unfortunate that Marxists and other hate groups get to kill so many people while working out their hang-ups. Maybe they should just go do some primal screaming instead. Anything, but leave the rest of us alone.

Yup. The handgun I just bought for my wife is in a less popular caliber precisely so I can find ammunition (for the time being) for it.

Some states (VA for instance) don’t require registration to vote in primaries. Gee, one party’s candidate here is running unopposed for this fall’s gubernatorial contest. I hate to pass up the chance to vote! ;-)
