BAGHDAD, April 26 (Reuters) - Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki views a U.S. military raid that killed two people overnight in the southern city of Kut as a a crime that violated a bilateral security pact, and wants U.S. forces to hand those responsible to the courts, an Iraqi official said on Sunday.

"The general commander (Maliki) is affirming that the killing of two citizens and detaining others in Kut is considered a violation of the security pact," an official in the office of Major General Qassim Moussawi, Baghdad security spokesman, said

""He asks the commander of the multinational forces to release the detainees and hand over those responsible for this crime to the courts," he added (Reporting by Tim Cocks)"

I find it odd that this is not being blasted over the news but then seeing that Bush can not take the fall on this one I understand why the libs would try to keep it under wraps. Well I don't understand it but I know their nature. Oh the hypocrisy of the left Obama and company are being silent! How can he spin this, will it just go away, what will they do?

May God be with all involved in this and may Obama find the balls to tell them NO he will not hand over those responsible. America will deal with it within our channels to find out what happened.

They’ll blame it on disgruntled right wing extremist veterans.

If Obambi is stupid and evil enough to order these men handed over to an Iraqi court (Sharia Law), the anger among our troops will be palpable. I suspect he will, under some rubric of "fairness" or "justice".

This was apparently a military operation, not a criminal act. To allow it to be treated after the fact as a criminal act by handing the soldiers over for prosecution in an Iraqi court would be inviting wholesale mutiny within the ranks.

But, maybe that's what Dear Leader might want. It would get the "real" enemy to show their faces so they can be taken care of early on as he continues to consolidate his stranglehold on America...

I think the odds anyone taking that request seriously are about nil. After the “disguntled Iraqi veterans” snafu, the last thing the Obamunists want is a major row with the military and veterans. They may be neo-Marxists, but they have political saavy enough not to do it, even if they were so inclined.
