I agree. Even in Mexico, the spread hasn't significantly accelerated out of control since the initial 80 deaths were reported.

And I agree with you both. A few days ago we were told the cases here were not as bad as in Mexico; that no one here has died from it; and there have only been a few reported with it in the U.S.
And, we were also told that our flu vaccines would not work on this strain. Now they are creating wide-spread fear that this is an epidemic, and saying that they are gearing up with more vaccines.
None of this makes any sense. There seems to be a lot of contradictions about this flu. Smells like something else is "contageous," and it is not the swine flu, but it is growing like the porkulus bill. It is called the cover-up disease; all politicians and government agencies get it.

I share your cynicism. My hunch is slightly different. I figure that they are giving us a good "flu scare" now, so that in another few months, they can do this again and most of us will already have recent "flu anxiety" and be eager to rush out and get the so called vaccine. A mass vaccination, done by force (which is allowed for by Executive Order 13295) using a vaccine created by enemies of free Americans could be catastrophic.

You know, it occurs to me, is calling this “swine flu” insensitive to our Islamic brothers and sisters of the world? And if so, should the US apologize? Or has Obama already done enough of that?
