Gathering of Eagles and Eagles Up has announced this year’s plans for Recruiter Appreciation Day.
Armed Forces Day is on Saturday, May 16, but GoE is dedicating the whole week, May 11 to May 16, to Recruiter Appreciation Day. The whole week will give everyone a chance to better plan their Day. The GoE link has a lot of great ideas so be sure to look at it, especially if you are new to this.
There have been several One FReeper Recruiter Appreciation visits in the past so don’t think you need a group. Just do it.
If the recruiting office has not been visited in the past, be sure to call them first. And gift certificates to a near by eatery might be best instead of bring food.
Look for a thread for posting your pictures and giving an AAR. A link to the post-visits thread will also be posted on this thread so look for it if you don’t see the AAR for the visits in the side bar. Of course feel free to post your own AAR if you want, but please put a link to your AAR in the post-visit thread.
The D.C. Chapter FReepers and its Eagle members will be going to the Silver Spring, MD and the 14th & L Street, NW, Washington recruiter stations. We will be visiting the recruiter stations on Friday during lunch. Contact me by FRmail and let me know which office you will want to visit. As time gets near, we will tie down the details.

There’s a Navy recruiting office by me, and a 4-in-1 at Times Square which will probably have a good presence. Maybe I should go “rogue” and visit the Navy office with some Dunkin’ Donuts.
