Biden and Obama both said they talk about the vice president's sometimes colorful gaffes.

"If Joe was off message on a particular day, usually I don't have to bring it up," Obama said. "He's the first one to come to me and say: 'You know what? I'm not sure that's exactly how we want to position ourselves.'

"The flip side is: If I'm off message, he's not going to be bashful about saying, "You know, Mr. President, I think ...,'" Obama added.

I’ll leave partisanship aside and thank Beau Biden for his service and wish him a safe return home.

Who wouldn’t worry about their son in Iraq?

“...In a wide-ranging profile, Biden said he remains physically affectionate with his two adult sons, 40-year-old Beau and 39-year-old Hunter Biden, and doesn’t shy from calling them “honey.”

“I think they feel good about it,” Biden said. “When we see each other we hug and kiss.”

JEEZE! Biden is pro active about his screw ups like one of my daughters. My daughter calls me before I get the Sprint bill, telling me she exceeded her cell phone minutes. But, Oh well, her intentions were meaningful. (BS)!

He’s the Vice President, I’m sure he can have his son reassigned to some country where we aren’t just there because we won a war there.

Someplace like Japan, or Germany....

Evidently, some nuts can still fall far enough away from the tree to actually grow into something useful.

I wonder how he feels about the release of all the photos and memos, etc., that might well put his son in danger.
Is it my imagination, or does it seem like the VP is not 100% supportive of obama and his “policies”?

I'd worry a little less if my son (like Biden) was serving as a JAG lawyer. Young Biden isn't out clearing IEDs.

If you really loved your daughter, you'd get her a plan with unlimited minutes.

How do you figure those photo's and memo's will put his son in danger?

Biden's son is a lawyer. I'm sure that a rogue mortar or IED might hurt him. But all it's doing is setting him up to take over "Dad's business". He gets to be against the troops since he was one. Kinda like Murtha. In fact exactly like Murtha.

At least the MSM didn't give unit number, MOS, identifying tattoos and area of operation like they did for Palin's son.

Of course if he got maimed or killed that would be just what the MSM thinks he deserves.

I think Palin's son is enlisted and Joe's is an officer.

Agreed, but his first service to his Commander in Chief seemed to be the extradition of Larry Sinclair from his Wash DC news conference to Delaware to silence him(allegedly negative information about Illinois State Senator Obama about an encounter in Gurnee, IL a few years back).

He should worry about his son, since King Barry is screwing the US on the world stage. If young Biden dies will the VP blame King Barry or GWB?

No! she has a limit. It’s called responsibility. I have suspended her line on many occasions for not adhering to the contract.

With Biden and his POS boss in control, one can worry about a military family member stationed anywhere.
