Most of this spending won’t kick in for years and could be conceivably backed out by a 2010 Congress. The torture tiger, on the other hand, is getting hungry and it moves quickly. I say let’s put the spotlight on the tiger.
I agree with you. Let’s spotlight this investigation. When the public sees how fairly suspects were treated, and how much valuable information was obtained, it will be a huge boost for the Republicans.
The dems are making it sound like Bush/Cheney were breaking the law and then trying to cover it up by classifying all information about the program. Let the truth shine forth—it will make those who love America proud.
