Hell no. I told my parents back in 1976 that I wouldn’t get that shot no matter what. I don’t like the idea of injecting live viruses, but I can see how and why they work. I just had a bad vibe about that one, and I do with this “new” flu shot.

Same here.
Kids at the college I was attending lined up to take the shot, but when it was my turn I refused. Something about signing the required disclaimer struck me as odd.
OK, the fact that I was in pre-law may have had something to do with it.

But hey, the paralysis is mostly temporary. Unless it is not. I never took the shot in ‘76. The only two flu shots that Uncle Sam gave me (without a choice) made me sick as hell. I have had 1 bout of flu in 26 years. And that includes a lot of international, and very heavy domestic travel.
Eat well, excercise, use supplements prudently, and wash your hands well with warm soapy water. Pay attention to where you touch things in public, and keep your hands out of your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Just like Grandma always said.
