I’m probably as conservative as they come but this really puzzles me. Brownback’s vote FOR Sebelius wouldn’t have made a hill of bean’s difference in her confirmation. So he votes against her. So what? She would have been confirmed anyway. I think you have to pick your battles and this was one we couldn’t win anyway. Brownback is a good guy and he shouldn’t have to be punished for this one vote. He votes our way 99% of the time. There are plenty of other turncoats who deserve our scrutiny much more than Brownback. Give him a break on this one. PLEASE. Let’s don’t kill our wounded.

There are some people who you can look at and tell at first sight that something isn’t genuine about them. I’ve always had that impression of Brownback and this just confirms it.

America has changed....Christians will not be the majority...Christian belief has changed within the church....very libral believers....ProChoice Christians/Catholics.....ProGay Christians/Catholics...i never thought i would see the day. I believe Republican support was to get Sebelius out of the picture for the 2010 Kansas senate race. She can't run for governor again, and would have been a formidable opponent against either Tiahrt or Moran, who will be running for Brownback's seat. Politics over principles.

Just as many here in NM hoped for Richardson to leave as Governor so that the less environmentally radical Lt. Gov could take over, no doubt there are a lot in Kansas glad to see her go after her radical abortion record and effectively vetoing of needed power plant construction.

I had not noticed the NPR report. Of course, if Swish Souter ever voted with us I don’t really remember him doing so. This gives The One the opportunity to recharge an already leftist seat with a probably younger commissar. I do hope that the other leftists and particularly Anthony Kennedy and the four Americans are stubborn enough to hang on until we can stop any more bad guy appointments, defeat Obama and “reform” the membership of Congress to our liking.

There have been many but I’m talking about those in DC right now. I don’t want to nit pick too much. As far as the Congressional & Senatorial RINOs who we need to focus our financial and ground game on at this time - I think we could keep the list down to about a dozen.
It seems that most conservatives agree on a desire to excrete Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, Lindsey Graham & John McCain. That would be a great start (along with some RINO Congressmen and women).
Exactly and they don’t like the truth outting them. So far it’s been a real cushy ride for them. They only have to talk to us when it’s election time.
