If the hitch hiking female was as violent, drunk, etc - how can the man be charged with any crime?
This case seems to be a situation where an out of town elected official simply did what the hitch hiker wanted, specifically to get out of the car.
Why is that a crime? Just because MS Drunk died as a result of her choices made while drunk is hardly the fault of the man.

My mistake - he was male, and therefore guilty of any charge.
