During the Clinton Administration, +$20 billion was given to the Mexican Government to bailout the declining peso, 100 times the bailout to AIG, not including inflation. This was after defending Mexico and the rest of the world from the Nazis (National Socialist German Workers Party), the Communist (Union of Soviet Socialist Republic), Islamic Terrorist (Islamofacism), and becoming the backbone of the world's economy. Mexico has since spiraled downward into a failed state and 3rd world warlord nation. Only massive public pressure has forced the current Mexican Administration to go after some of the Cartels along the US border, (only so that the flow of neglected Mexican citizens can continue). There have been no ACORN funded protest.
In addition to billions of dollars in aid, the US taxpayer has also been given the responsibility of millions of neglected citizens from Mexico, without the chance to find out who they are. We have the same system with other countries, including countries that sponsor terrorism. This system is responsible for lower wages, the deaths 25 Americans a day from crime, terrorism, and disease. Now that the Mexican Swine Flu has spread across the world, the Obama Administration has decided to keep the lawless Mexican borders open in name of "free trade" with the failed state. Just like the Bush Administration, Obama has favored the unconstitutional (SPP) Security and Prosperity Partnership, which favors open borders even when dealing with a pandemic.
We have already had the tragic story of a toddler coming across the Mexican Border and dying in Houston, TX. How many US citizens were in contact with that child? What will the administration say if several US citizens catch the Mexican Swine Flu from an illegal alien who crossed the border a week from now? Will the unnamed companies that "need fair trade" provide health-care for those infected. If Congress passes an amnesty, will the same immigration system that legalized 2 of the Fort Dix Terror Cell make sure that nobody infected with a 3rd world disease be given legal status? If we do pass an amnesty, will Mexico finally become a real country? If the people of the United States of America do not take action, the greatest nation ever will suffer even more from the problems of the 3rd world
no, but there are people in this country willing to kill for it
The last time that I checked, the $200B given to AIG was 10 times the $20B given to Mexico.
But maybe AIG is up to $300 or $400 by now.
The amnesty/illegal immigration debate has heated up yet again!

I mixed up the AIG bailout with the bonuses to the AIG execs.
Sorry for the double post, computer glitch.
illegal immigration ping!
“I mixed up the AIG bailout with the bonuses to the AIG execs.”
Honest mistake, but the point is still well-taken.
$20B doesn’t seem like much these days, given the numbers being tossed around in bailout-land...and that is really scary.

ICE gets new rules on rounding up workers in raids
(In other words Janet ‘Nappin’-at-the-Alamo’ is stopping workplace raids)
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/business/6402201.html
Under new enforcement guidelines, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will now have to build a case against an employer suspected of hiring undocumented immigrants before rounding up workers.
The guidelines, issued by Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano on Thursday, represent a marked shift from the past administrations work site enforcement strategy, which resulted in a series of high-profile raids across the country in recent years, including in Houston, but relatively few employer arrests.
Matt Chandler, a DHS spokesman, said the guidelines reflect a new department-wide focus to target employers by prosecuting them criminally. The guidelines require that field agents have either an arrest, indictment, search warrant or at least a commitment from a U.S. Attorneys Office to prosecute an employer before arresting employees for civil violations at a work site, a DHS official confirmed on Thursday.....
