"The reason they are shutting down churches is there are not enough priests to go around," Funny how that problem is much, much worse in heterodox dioceses whose bishops sympathize with nonsense like this.

Not a Catholic,
Not a Mass.

Bourgeois was to talk about the School of the Americas on Friday and his support for women's ordination today. Wouldn't it just be easier for this guy to become an Episcopalian?
To: Behind Liberal Lines
I’m not a Catholic, but I believe it is time for the Catholic Church to ordain women. However, that is not my choice; it is the choice of the church. This woman is not an ordained Catholic priest, and she should be ashamed of herself for pretending that she is.

The reason they are shutting down churches is there are not enough priests to go around We're in recovery mode right now. Nine last year, four this year, six next year - and word is there's a class with 15. That ordination Mass is going to be over four hours, I'm sure.

To say a woman was “ordained” as a Catholic priest and then immediately acknowledge that the Catholic church precludes women from being ordained tells us all we need to know about this author’s ability to connect dots.
These women are not ordained as priests - they are participants in a play.

There’s no such thing as woman priests. Just like there’s no such thing as men priestesses. I wonder if the pagan religions who use priestesses have men trying to become “menpriestesses”.

Again, the MSM does not get it when it comes to religion. This woman is not a Catholic priest. The headlines are totally misleading. It would be like me ordaining a dog. It is not a valid ordination anymore than same-sex marriage is a valid marriage before God.

Many here will ask: If they disagree with the Roman Catholic Church so much, why don’t they form their own church?
Because to far many people of a Liberal bent, the existence of organizations with which they fundamentally disagree is intolerable. They can’t just agree to disagree, they must bend their opponents to their will.
People of this type would not be satisfied unless 50% or priests were women and 10% or more were LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered for those who don’t understand Liberal-speak) with the Catholic church openly celebrating most of the things it preaches against.
Indeed, these types of people will not truly be happy until The Pope, and her Lesbian life partner, are making offerings to Gaia the Earth Mother in the Vatican. In other words they want the Catholic Church to betray it’s most fundamental beliefs.
I’m not Roman Catholic, but but I find these types of people appalling.

"And no matter how hard or how long we may try to justify discrimination, in the end, it is always immoral." Rev. Roy Bourgeois
Bourgeois is a liberal dead-soul. When a 'reverend' stands himself/herself up into a position of telling God what He is doing is right or wrong, that soul is lost in the service of the evil one. There cannot be a more discriminating event than the judgment seat of Christ. Would the 'reverend' tell us now that such an event is not going to occur because that would be the height of discrimination? ... I think a dead soul like Roy Bourgeois or Gabriella Velardi-Ward would indeed try to convince us of such foolery.

She was NOT ordained as a 'Catholic priest', because what she and the person administering the 'ordination' were doing is not sanctioned by the Roman Catholic Church. It is not a valid sacrament.
So she can call herself a priest all she wants, but she isn't a ROMAN CATHOLIC priest, no matter how much she wants to tell that to herself or others. If the headline in the newspaper read the way the FR headline reads, it's no wonder half-listening Catholics are confused about what the Church teaches anymore.
