Major Garrett: I was told Obama might not call on me if Fox didn’t carry his presser

And indeed, he wasnt called on. Did that ever happen with Bush? I know he skipped Helen Thomas sometimes because he didnt like her and/or the tone of her questions, but did he ever punish a reporter because that reporters agency refused to give him free exposure? It turned out to be a savvy business decision by Fox, but then, in our new command economy, its hard to blame The One for insisting that he get his way.

If you click on the picture of Major Garrett you will see/hear a interview between Major Garrett and Brain and the Judge. Worth listening to so you can see what this "transparent" administration is all about.

The big difference between Garrett and Helen Thomas is that Helen is not a reporter...she’s a columnist.

It is time for someone to shame Obama.
It is time for someone to say, “Look, I am not too worried about you kicking me out of here, since you never call on me anyone. However, I think the rest of the White House Press Corps should admit that they are cowards. The rest of these Obama lackeys need to admit that they are no longer reporters since they refuse to ask you any tough questions”
Just stand up and DO IT, and it will put some fire under the rest of the MSM.

Stations make decisions based on the ratings they think they will get. Given the ratings for Obummer, and how they are increasingly getting lower, Fox made the right decision.

I don’t see this as hurting Fox - most people don’t have a clue, or care, who the reporter works for - most don’t even listen to pressers - all they want to know about is their piece of the pie.....”where it at”?

Tapper should be glad for being excluded in at least one respect: Its clear Obama considers the WH press corps his b*tch. He threatened to sic 'em on the Chrysler hedge fund hold outs like he sicced 'em on the AIG execs.
And like the good lil toadies they are they obliged him right away.
Tapper, at least, will be one of the very few journalists come out of this thing with integrity intact.

Under President Bush, reporters raised their hands and then President Bush called on them. Under Barack Hussien Obama he looks on his list to see who is the next reporter to call on based on their previously reviewed questions.

I was privy to a memo sent by a Dem before the election about the strong arm tactics used by Obama and Co. They are just a newer and hipper form of the Mob.
