There is no reference to the Bible in the Constitution. The Bible is merely the source of everything we know about the Creator mentioned in the Declaration of Independence.

There is nothing more asinine than judging 18th and 19th century men by 21st century racial standards.

This article shows, that in this case, it works out just fine.

Pagans could be permanent slaves Leviticus 25:44-46 states: As for your male and female slaves whom you may have - you may acquire male and female slaves from the pagan nations that are around you. Then, too, it is out of the sons of the sojourners who live as aliens among you that you may gain acquisition, and out of their families who are with you, whom they will have produced in your land; they also may become your possession. You may even bequeath them to your sons after you, to receive as a possession; you can use them as permanent slaves.

Just as well our Constitution isn't based on the Bible.

“ At the time of the adoption of the constitution, and of the amendment to it, now under consideration [i.e., the First Amendment], the general, if not the universal sentiment in America was, that Christianity ought to receive encouragement from the state, so far as was not incompatible with the private rights of conscience, and the freedom of religious worship.”—Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States p. 593

I don't recall any reference to the Bible in in the Constitution, can you identify specifics?

At the founding debates and discussions at the founding convention which produced the Constitution, the Bible was quoted as a legitimate source for the basis for law.

In fact the Bible was quoted about four times more than any other source at that convention.

The founders honored the Bible, cherished the Bible and used the Bible as a great source for American law, before, during and after they gave us the Constitution.

The shallow, ignorant, brainwashed modernist American just handwaves when faced with these facts.

Facts which all liberal modernists have exactly backwards in their own minds.
