"When a taboo is lifted or diminished, it's going to leave people freer to pursue things," she says. I thought the narrative was that increased acceptance of homosexuality and lesbianism wouldn't encourage more of it. Apparently that was a lie.
To: TaraP
They are confused by the feminist lie that men and women are essentially the same. When men do not react like women, then they assume that the man is willfully frustrating them. So rather than learn HOW to deal with men, they latch onto a like-minded woman. It works with straight people. A guy or gal can’t get along with one person and rather than work things out looks for someone else. And all combinations and permutations of the above. Life aint easy.

There’s a number of things that women don’t seem to be able to control about themselves.

"We found that women's sexual desire is less rigidly directed toward a particular sex, as compared with men's, and it's more changeable over time," says the study's senior researcher, J. Michael Bailey, Ph.D. "These findings likely represent a fundamental difference between men's and women's brains." He is safe to say this because of the politically protected speech on gay topics.
But if he had said exactly the same thing ("These findings likely represent a fundamental difference between men's and women's brains.") about math scores, or engineering skills, or anything else, he would be burned at the stake.

It’s not surprising to me at all. I think it’s far less taboo for women to be bisexual than it is for men. Women are all about having options so why should they limit themselves to only half the population?

Stupid question. The answer? Because more men are leaving women for other men of course....

Sexual fluidity is not something women can control...Horse Hockey. They're looking for the next taboo. Leaving their boyfriends or husbands for another man is so passe, you understand, and not at all the 'sophisticated' thing to do.

This must not be new - like the 1930’s Cole Porter song says, “When mothers pack and leave poor father/Because they decide they’d rather be tennis pros/ anything goes.” In context of the song, the “tennis pros” bit sounds suspicious!

In the past few years, Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon left a boyfriend after a decade and a half and started dating a woman (and talked openly about it).Yep, there always has to be some celebrity name dropping for the lowest common denominator crowd to be able to relate.

Simple. We are a decadent country that calls evil good and good evil. We call divorce a good thing. We call living together before marriage a good thing. We call sex outside of marriage a good thing.
That means more men live without morals and commit sin without thinking twice. More men abuse their wives. More men abuse their daughters. More men abuse their nieces. More men abuse their step-children. More men abuse their girlfriend's sister's illegitimate kids who are living with their grandmother.
Every abused child moves the trend forward as abused children are guaranteed to have serious mental and spiritual problems and are much more likely to become abusers themselves when they're of age. Sin begets sin. Its axiomatic.
We are well on our way to creating a hell on earth.

Sorry, but if true (and I always doubt Newspaper accounts), then it must be a more permissive and acceptance by society of what is considered non-normal relationships. It probably is just more liberal thoughts about sex in general - and anywhere you can get it is just fine... Not a good sign for a long-lasting society - but, most are on the outs anyway!
We will either be gone or Muslim in another 50 years so might as well have your fun while you can...(standard bull of the left)...

I will say there is definately a double standard.
Two women don’t even have to be lesbian to occasionally want to be with other women.
But when it comes to guys, as The Diceman said. “You either ...., or you do not......, there is no in-between.”
