A Russian-born woman has been jailed in the U.S. state of Maine after purportedly consuming prescription drugs, wine and liquid soap from the lavatory and scuffling with flight attendants on a London-bound jetliner.
U.S. prosecutors said Galina Rusanova, a British citizen born in Russia, punched and kicked flight attendants and at one point fell to the floor and began "snapping like a dog" while trying to bite a crew member's leg.
Rusanova, who made a court appearance Friday in Bangor, Maine, remained in custody pending a detention hearing Monday in U.S. District Court, where she is charged with assault and interference with a flight crew. If convicted, she faces up to 20 years in prison.

It appears that she’s an actress in children’s theatre and an artist. I don’t know about her acting but I guess her art is OK.
I’m thinking she may be an alcoholic.

Yes, liquid soap. Sadly it’s the only way I get my pipes clean.
Perhaps if they served food in coach class again, she wouldn’t have resorted to drinking soap and snapping like a hungry dog. Just a thought.

I hope she is punished for doing what she did. The Flight Crews are there to help people not be abused by them.
One of the stories I read said she was on her way to LA to meet a man she met on the internet.
We don’t depend on the airline to feed us. We pack some fruit and a sandwich...it’s plenty to tide us over until we land. At least this way I know what is in our food and who handled it and...don’t have to worry about the ones who prepared it if their hands were clean or not. Make it simple. Pack your own lunch and then enjoy a dessert of a cookie or something like that.
