Barack Obama is a brand. And the Obama brand is designed to make us feel good about our government while corporate overlords loot the Treasury, our elected officials continue to have their palms greased by armies of corporate lobbyists, our corporate media diverts us with gossip and trivia and our imperial wars expand in the Middle East. Brand Obama is about being happy consumers. We are entertained. We feel hopeful. We like our president. We believe he is like us. But like all branded products spun out from the manipulative world of corporate advertising, we are being duped into doing and supporting a lot of things that are not in our interest.

Denial is pointless. The American People love this clown and his dog-faced wife (...er I mean the most beautiful woman in the world). Gallup # is near his inugural levels. Even Raz has him ridin' high. He is popular and powerful. Moreover the stock market is rallying like it's 1999. If the economy turns around Obama will be unstoppable. It's very depressing right now. 90% of the rants on FR daily are totally pointless. 90% of the predictions of his failure will fail.
But eventually Obama will falter badly, and the press won't be able to clean it up for him. Perhaps then the American People will finally see, unfiltered, the anger, arrogance and bitterness that reach into the core of this man.
But that's a conversation for a future day. Right now, the Pied Piper's got nothin' on Barack Hussein Obama.

Unfortunately there are so many Kool Aid drinkers out there that think Obama can do no wrong. Yesterday a guy put a remark on a website that stated that Obama does not use a telepromter, Fox News just made that up.
