Rep. Barney Frank: Calls for Conservative Democrats to be Kicked Out of the Party (w/video)
Politicus USA ^ | May 4, 2009 | Jason Easley

After 12 Senate Democrats voted to block an amendment that would have rewritten the bankruptcy laws to allow judges to renegotiate mortgages with banks, Rep. Barney Frank went off, and called for those who side with the moneyed interests to be kicked out of the party.

Here is Barney Frank on Bill Mahr:

(VIDEO AT LINK)

Host Bill Mahr stated that Wall St. calls the shots in the Democratic Party, “Let’s be honest, the Democratic party, starting in the 90’s, also became the party of business and Wall Street. So what we really need is another party that’s the progressive party.”

Frank responded, “We who don’t feel that Wall Street should call the shots are in the majority of the Democratic Party. Yes, I agree with you that I wish there were more Democrats on one side. But what you’re saying on the Democratic side, who are on the side you want, should leave to become the second party. No, I’m the first party. Let the minority, who doesn’t agree with us, let them become the second party.”

By the way, all of the Democrats who voted against the amendment came from red states, with the exception of Democrat come lately Arlen Specter. Frank’s comments illustrate one of the biggest problems that the Democrats have in their majority. The more conservative Democrats often aren’t in agreement with the rest of the party. I disagree with Frank’s idea that the party should be made smaller, by kicking out those who disagree.

The fastest way for the Democrats to lose their majority would be for them to adopt the Republican strategy of forcing its members to toe the party line, or get out. Frank is suggesting that the Democrats move more to the left, which is the worst thing that the Democratic Party could do right now. The party has grown by becoming the party of inclusion. It would be a major mistake to start kicking party members out who are more conservative.

Barney Frank is a hypocrite of the rankest kind. Who among Congress received the highest amount of campaign donations from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? Why that would be Frank, Dodd, and B Hussein Obama... And Countrywide? And who had a romantic homosexual relationship (oxymoron alert!) with a higher-up at Fannie Mae? And yet the Dems are not the party of Big Business and Wall Street.....

Sure does look like a split in the Democratic Party. There is no way that they can maintain their majority if they are controlled by the extreme left. The FDR Democrats (i.e., White retirees with campers) who would vote Democrat even if it were required that they throw their kids into volcanoes first are now dying off and being replaced by independent Gen Xers,Yers, etc. - many of them straight.

I think that it’s time that the Democratic Party have a summit, led by Barney Frank, to plot their new path to maintain majority status.

so, Democratic party policy is that the government should not enforce contractual agreements but change them to whatever they want to. That should be good for business.

Make them wear armbands and send ACORN to destroy their homes, cars, and confiscate their weapons,
arrest their relatives, kill their pets, and tattoo their foreheads.

Did I miss anything? Oh yea, It's a head fake!

This trap has been set so many times for real conservatives

The arrogance of power is a very intoxicating thing. It leads one to delusional fantasies of omnipotence. It is their undoing.

This, my friends, is not an uncommon thought with people like Barney Frank and many Democrat politicians, especially including the current occupant of the White House. In their pea-sized brains, they would do this if they could. We have turned our backs on them for too long.

As Rush accurately points out, The Constitution is an impediment to them. What voters think doesn't matter. The arrogance is astounding. Liberals are the home for degenerates ranging from serial rapists (William Jefferson Clinton) to pedophiles and purveyors of pornography (Wade Sanders).

What has happened to our country? Liberalism, the Fifth Column Khrushchev referred to when he said they would bury us.

The RNC should actively court the “Conservative Democrats” and request that they change parties. A good guilt trip can move it along a bit.

It is mindboggling that people of such questionable character ascend to the most powerful political positions in the country.

It is understandable that millions were duped by the MSM-packaged polish of Obama, but to see Frank, Pelosi, and Reid wield such power is too much to handle.

This trio is so obviously damaged, so obviously unhinged, and so obviously immoral it really gives me pause to think that over half the country supports degenerates such as these.

Throw them all away!
