Gov. Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol is making her first appearances as Teen Ambassador for The Candies Foundation, working to raise awareness of teen pregnancy prevention.
She was a guest on ABC's "Good Morning America" (story here and video here), as well as NBC's "Today Show" (story here and video here).
The young lady seems to be doing her job for Candies, including dealing with the media, with all the poise and grace that could be expected of an 18-year-old. She will participate in a town hall discussion sponsored by the foundation later today.
CBS, feeling left out because Bristol chose to appear on the two other major alphabet networks and not theirs, lashed out by giving Bristols ex-fiance Levi Johnston some more air time in an attempt to spoil the work Bristol is doing. We would expect nothing better from the snarky See-BS, and we won't give them the courtesy of a link.

Is she permitted to speak out against abortion? Or will her tongue be restricted in this role?
Palin PING!
Anyone on or off the Palin ping, write me.
“Is she permitted to speak out against abortion? Or will her tongue be restricted in this role?”
She can; but she will be banned from visiting the UK
Raise awareness for teen pregnancy? How much more aware does it have to be? Kids are aware they just are too stupid to heed the advice they were given to keep it in their pants. There was a whole thing not too long ago where kids where engaging in Oral sex for the sole reason not to get pregnant.
I would love to hear why Bristol wasn’t aware of the risks.
The kids got that specific sex advice from Bill Clinton. Weren’t we all told that oral sex wasn’t real sex?
Another Megan McCain in the making?
They have NOT been advised to keep it in their pants. Schools and medical professionals have signed onto the sex positive agenda to encourage them to be sexually active.
SEICUS, Kinsey, Reich, and feminists push for such a worldview.
There is a "Just Say Yes" campaign.
You missed out on the culture war that's been waged for the past 50 years.
Quite so. It would be interesting to know, though, if the foundation’s “pregnancy prevention” strategies include the obvious: “I have a baby because I had sex. Don’t have sex if you’re not married: it’s wrong and it’s stupid.”
Not exactly. Bill Clinton’s long held belief is that oral sex isn’t sex if you aren’t the one initiating it. Hence, if she goes down on you, it’s not sex for you because you weren’t doing anything. This can only come from the mind of a sociopath and scumbag lawyer which Clinton is both.
The sex positive agenda seeks to end all moral judgements over all sexual pairings regardless of sex, age, relation, marital status, number, or species of partner(s).
They believe that abstinence is wrong not because it doesn’t work, they admittedly claim that it is an “unhealthy” denial of sexual desires. Same with their response to those who try to counsel people not to act on homosexual impulses. Their goal is sexual active lifestyles.
Condoms in schools wasn’t about ending teen pregnancy or lower AIDS rates. It was about winning the argument about IF teens should be sexually active.
The institutions work against parental oversight and teaching. They will take your kids to an abortionist without your consent.
As we see with the Green agenda and other bits of indoctrination, kids are being told “your parents aren’t always right”. They undermine parental authority.
This is the world we live in. Our institutions are socialized.
Bristol is the opposite of Megan.
Bristol, conservative - Megan, liberal
but you knew that.
Sorry, but I don’t think the “safe sex” brigade, which Bristol seems to be moving into, is conservative, but rather promoting promiscuity.
