Kind of a misleading article.
Anybody really believe they’re going to stop making the best selling truck in America?
Most of the Ford trucks are either KansasCity or Dearborn built if I remember correctly.
I like my 06 Explorer. Didn’t Ford add a shift to keep building them due to demand? If I could find a new OD gear so I can crank 1500 RPM and do 65mph, I would be happier with the gpm, or, could they put the CVT transmission in the Explorer to squeeze a few more GPM? Otherwise, it is a great car! I got 18.2mpg going from Chicago to DC, loaded with 4 adults and luggage - no complaints!
Ford is apparently trying to compete with the government. Quick, nationalize them!
The Navigator and Expeditions would seem to replace the Excursions previously built at KTP.
“Anybody really believe theyre going to stop making the best selling truck in America?”
No, but I can see them giving up Exploders and Expeditions.
This is not just another effect of the bs that has been building and now is overcoming America, the automobile, especially Ford trucks (and also now SUVs) is the one symbol of freedom for the freedon-loving American!
Think not that this is lost on those who hate America.
As fdr said, (paraphrased)...nothing happens in politics by chance, you can bet yer sweet @$$ that if something comes about it has been designed that way.
