Warm up the South Bend, Indiana jail for Alan Keyes. He cant wait to be arrested.
Yes. Im serious. President Obama is heading to Notre Dame in less than two weeks and so is Alan Keyes. Obamas appearance has drawn quite a bit of criticism from conservative Catholics and Bishops.
Read below from a just released statement from the former Presidential candidate and Barack Obama nemesis:
"I will go to South Bend. I will step foot on the Notre Dame campus to lift up the standard that protects the life of the innocent children of this and every generation. I will do it all day and every day from now until the Master comes if need be, though it mean I shall be housed everyday in the prison house of lies and injustice that Obama, Jenkins and their minions now mean to construct for those who will never be still and silent in the face of their mockery of God and justice, their celebration of evil. If this be trespass, then forgive us our trespasses and join us in trespassing until the South Bend jail is filled to overflowing with witnesses to truth; filled beyond capacity; filled until we break the most onerous shackles of all- the ones that bind the heart and mind to evil and our nation to the path of its destruction."

God bless, protect and keep you, Alan.
I think he's sort of kooky but you really have admire his tenacity and loyalty to his principles.
It is a shame he didn’t go farther in the party....let’s hope he does in the future....
God be with you Alan.
Dr. Keyes is a heroic Christian American.
God bless him!
He’ll wear the arrest like a badge of honor.
Jeez if we need a headline grabber it would be nice to have one that could be more effective than Keyes.
Keyes is well spoken, aggressive, and unapologetic in his defense of conservatism. You got anyone else out there who fits that description?
Well done, Mr. Keyes.
You forgot "ineffective" and "pompous".
I think it is time. He really should be on the ticket and viable in 2012. It is very rare that he speaks and does not inspire. Obama was a nobody just a few years ago. He is conservative, he is strong, and he does love this country. We cannot make the perfect the enemy of the good, to borrow a phrase. He is good, and he and Palin on a ticket would be great.
i guess it's all in the details. noble causes and all that. flame away if you will.
More or less pompus than our current CIC?
And the first presidential candidate to openly endorse infanticide will be feted at a Catholic institution.
Something about the "princes of this world" comes to mind.
Godspeed Alan.
Holier than thou..
On the one hand, I see a man of principle and action, and on the other, a man who carps.
He doesn’t like Palin plus is with some loser tenth incarnation of the American Independent Party..
Whose fault is that? And no, it's not his!
It would be nice if the friendly people of Indiana bring their protest to a place where they can peacefully congregate and raise their voices against this obscene use of a Catholic University to cover for his murderous intentions for innocent life.
