Last July, Martin signed a two-year contract with Hendrick Motorsports covering one full Sprint Cup season in 2009 and one part-time schedule of 26 events in 2010. The revised agreement was signed this week.
"Week in and week out, Mark continues to be one of the best race car drivers in the world," Hendrick said. "He's already made an incredible contribution to Hendrick Motorsports, and our entire company is excited about running another full season and winning races with him in 2010."
Old Man is still strong!
I wish him much success, He has a had a good year, well worth tabling another young driver.. He earned it.
Carl Edwards will make his sixth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start at Darlington Raceway in this weekends Southern 500. In five starts at the 1.366-mile track, Edwards has two top-five and four top-10 finishes. He scored his best finish at Darlington, second place last year. After a disappointing 26th-place finish at Richmond, Edwards dropped to ninth place in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series point standings. He trails leader Jeff Gordon by 237 points.

I took him off the A team slot ,, now I may have to reconsider. I hate using up drivers too quick in fantasy league.
Jr. may be the most famous Hendrick and NASCAR driver, but I want to see MM be Hendrick's and NASCAR's #1 driver. Not saying he's at retirement age, but there's nothing like finishing on top!
