Two weeks before Election Day, Barack Obama's campaign was mobilizing millions of supporters; it was a bit late to start rewriting get-out-the-vote (GOTV) scripts. "BUT, BUT, BUT," deputy field director Mike Moffo wrote to Obama's GOTV operatives nationwide, "What if I told you a world-famous team of genius scientists, psychologists and economists wrote down the best techniques for GOTV scripting?!?! Would you be interested in at least taking a look? Of course you would!!"

What is the bottom line of the article?

OK leftists, you show us how to cut your energy use by 75% and then I'll begin to listen to you. It's "unnecessary" only if you want to return to a Neanderthal lifestyle. 1,289,112,761th = 1,289,112,761st
This article made my blood run cold. A must read - do try to get past Time’s fawning and slobbering and read the entire piece. Insidious and beyond arrogance. It would be naive to think this president is the first to employ these methods, but the scope is chilling. I’m generally way too cynical to be an alarmist, but this one makes my stomach sink. I’ll be forwarding this article on.
