Maybe so, but then they are out to SERVE THE COUNTRY, not the no-guts RINO party.

Powell stirred controversy last year when he came out for the Democratic presidential candidate, then-Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! And he thinks thAT anyone should take him Seriously any more?????

I guess to be a true Republican who cares about the party you have to endorse Obama.

Why should anyone accept this “the country has changed argument”? What kind of leader states that the change they think has come is any good?

I would think it is more admirable to challenge this so-called “change” with many litmus tests to prove out the changes.

I think Mr. Powell needs to quit being paid so much to open his mouth.

Powell is a hater. These people are all haters. No matter how much compassion, recognition, or empathy one shows them, they still hate. Powell, I think, is a reverse racist.

Why Colin Powell is Mad at Me
May 6, 2009

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I'm getting e-mail, people here at the studio, "When are you going to talk about Colin Powell?" Folks, I don't care, I don't care what Colin Powell says.  This kind of stuff is said about me three times a day by liberals under the sun, and Colin Powell is just another liberal.  He did this back in December, and I responded to it then.  Look, if you want to know what this is all about, Colin Powell is out there saying the American people want more taxes, they want bigger government.  He's out there saying I am killing the Republican Party while he endorsed and voted for Obama.  The Republican Party nominated the exact kind of candidate Colin Powell thinks the Republican Party should have and he still endorsed Obama.  He's just mad at me because I'm the one person in the country that had the guts to explain his endorsement of Obama.  It was purely and solely based on race.  There can be no other explanation for it.

What Colin Powell needs to do is close the loop and become a Democrat, instead of claiming to be a Republican interested in reforming the Republican Party.  He's not.  He's a full-fledged Democrat.  The only reason to endorse Obama is race.  I don't think Powell thinks he could get away with not endorsing Obama because the Republicans nominated the exact candidate that had the exact campaign, other than Sarah Palin, that Colin Powell advocated.  So I don't care.  This kind of stuff is said about me ten times a day by liberals.  He's just one of them doing it.

So the "moderate" republican, fresh off voting for the Marxist democrat over the "moderate" republican candidate, is preaching moderation to the republican party as a winning strategy.

This big tent crap really has reached its logical conclusion.

“I guess to be a true Republican who cares about the party you have to endorse Obama.”

We can probably add to that list of Condoleezza Rice. Although she never came out and said it, it was easy to infer that she planned to vote for Hussein along with Powell. Race always trumps truth, it seems. America should have risen above this decades ago. Sadly, that didn’t happen.

"And Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, McCain's running mate last year, is "a very accomplished person" but became "a very polarizing figure," he said, adding that Palin's advisers created the polarization."

Shallow, low IQ thinking from an AA liberal. The media/Democrats demonized Palin at every opportunity.

I’d like to revise my previous statement. He’s an Obama koolaid-gulper, not sipper.

Can’t Mr. Specter take Mr. Powell with him?

Maybe it's just me and my Texas upbrining, but I get a real sinking feeling when I hear a former General telling me that most citizens really want more government in their life and not less.

That kind of thinking, in the end, didn't work out too well for Santa Anna.

Mr. Powell is going to even more to help Limbaugh's ratings. Powell is going to learn that conservatives just don't value his opinion yet treasure Limbaugh’s.
