Joe The Plumber -- Quitting The GOP?
Talking Points Memo ^ | 5/7/09 | Eric Kleefeld

Posted on 05/07/2009 9:26:45 AM PDT by steve-b

Is Samuel "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher really quitting the Republican Party? That's what a new Time article on the current sad state of the GOP says.

"Samuel Wurzelbacher, better known as Joe the Plumber, tells TIME he's so outraged by GOP overspending, he's quitting the party -- and he's the bull's-eye of its target audience," the article says....

Plumbers know much more about economics and the long-term health and viability of the United States, than the career-politican moderate Democrats, currently infesting the Republican Party.

Quit?

The other 'Q' word I heard he used recently.

If he were to win election to the House, would they deny seating him on the grounds of hate crimes?

He's no quitter, imo ... or a quieter. ;-)

Sounds like Joe is a “conservative” and not necessarily a “republican”. He’d be welcome here. I wonder if he’s a FReeper?

I'd hear from Joe himself.

I don't necessarily believe the Liberal, drive by media.

The country is surely lost, my guess is the FreeRepublic will be shut down within the next three years by some kind of legislations and those who posted on it may be rounded up ...

Wow, Joe The Plumber must be “either a troll, or a dolt with no real life experience and background” eh? “Immature” to boot, perhaps.

"More like the GOP quit Joe the Plumber."

Exactly!
I don't consider myself a Republican anymore. No, not a RAT just a conservative without a party.

“Hey, Joe, call Sarah and let’s get that new conservative party going, CRUSH THE GOP, UTTERLY ABANDONE THE EVIL THING ...”

I heard on the news that only 23% of the electorate identify themselves as Republicans. How ‘bout the “Common Sense” party?

I think Joe is smart enough to know the GOP doesn’t have the power to spend a single penny. These deficits are owned 100% by the Kenyan’s party.

After nine years of overspending, this guy is suddenly outraged? Some of us saw the light long ago.

“Hey, Joe, call Sarah and let’s get that new conservative party going...”

###

A Conservative Party is certainly what is needed, and it will take the once in a generation package of charisma, capability and courage represented in one Sarah Palin to make it happen.

Um, GOP overspending? I’m not sure where that is coming from. Everything going on now is entirely the rats fault, as they control government.
