Police: Man accused of shoplifting applies for job

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Police found a man accused of shoplifting because he put his address on a job application before leaving the store. Police said a 49-year-old man was arrested Tuesday on a misdemeanor theft charge after employees said he stole T-shirts and pants from a clothing store.

He might just be able to sue them for using confidential information on the job application for purposes not agreed to when he signed it. Of course, he’s probably not smart enough to know that he could do that, but let a hungry lawyer read about it and contact him...

One along the same line.

Two guys walked into a gas station and applied for jobs. They went back later and robbed the place. Yup, their names were on the apps. The police were waiting back at their respective homes. They went to prison.
