Former Pistons Coach Chuck Daly Dies

Former Pistons and Hall of Fame Coach Chuck Daly died Saturday morning in Jupiter, Florida with his family by his side.

The 78-year-old was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in February

His 1990s Pistons were THE toughest basketball team I ever saw. Almost every guy on the team was a great individual defender, but they played unbelievable team defense. Great book on Daly and that team is “The Franchise.”

He coached the only team that could hold back the Bulls (remember Dumars and the Jordan rules)...at least for a few years. RIP Chuck.

Honestly, I could not say it better and try to live by that. I think it easy to spot others that live by them rules. They usually aren't in a hurry.
