School sued over lesbian lecturer

The Pacific Justice Institute is suing a California school district after students were addressed by a lesbian pastor.

Brad Dacus, founder of the Pacific Justice Institute, tells OneNewsNow a lesbian minister visited Castro Valley High School and gave a presentation called "Out for Good." The parents found out about the incident after the fact.

"A lesbian minister was invited to guest lecture for math and science classes," he explains. "At that time, she shared her personal views on homosexuality, including a discussion of her lesbian wedding, the homosexual prom, and other such events and things that many parents were very concerned about once they heard this had taken place."

Parents requested information on what her teaching entailed, and the high school and district refused to share the information.

Brad Dacus PJI"So we at the Pacific Justice Institute have filed a lawsuit against that school district on behalf of the parents to defend their rights under the Ppublic Records Act to have access to that information as to exactly what the teacher said, what did she do, and how the students responded," Dacus says.

Dacus also contends the district ought to develop a written policy to make sure parents are informed in advance so they can opt to have their children removed from the environment.

The pervert would no doubt rather be undressing the female students.

I think that is where 1 + 1 = 0.

My kids would be out of school so fast and schooled at home, that it would make that principal’s head spin.

I would also park in front of the school every day with signs telling the other parents why I pulled my kid from school.

Kalifornia is working overtime to make the whole state a cesspool, not just San Fran.

Dear Parent of Public Schoolchildren:

This is just an extreme example. Meanwhile your kids are undergoing death by a thousand cuts when you surrender them to public education.

How would you feel if your babysitter brought a lesbian pastor to your home to share her views with your children? Your babysitter is performing in loco parentis and so is any school teacher or administrator. You give them the temporary authority to parent your child.

In the case of a sitter, it's infrequent and it's an hour or so. In the case of the school, it's 7 hours a day, 5 days a week.

They can strip search, call in lesbians to proselytize, give your child an arrest record for drawing a noose or a psychiatric record for writing an essay they don't like.

But keep on enjoying that free government day care. (Yes, you're on welfare, and so are your children! Yes, you are.)

When I was a kid, the Christian Science kids left the room when they showed HEALTH films. I would be livid on this one.

I believe it’s freedom of speech; not freedom of force. I am glad someone is finally doing something about people who think they can force their beliefs on others.

The one time my daughter went to public school, for the 6th grade, we were the only parents, according to the ugly left wing conservative hating teacher, who wouldn't let our kid go to school that day. At least we were notified to the cheap lesson. Public school in California is a mess. Terrible place to send a kid. I went into debt to make sure she did only good private schools after that, and she turned out to be a great kid.

What a disgusting piece of meat. Hetro bashing and forced viewing of a pervert all in one. Who will save us from the radical gays in our schools?

I wonder if this ‘enlightened Lesbian Pastor’ lives near freeper Lurker, our own mentally twisted apologist for the sexual degeneracy lifestyle? Was this ‘pastor’ raising daughters? ... That’s the scenario Lurker uses to argue they make such good parents.

They probably can’t get the school on teaching perversion, but they can get them for violation of “separation of church and state” for allowing a “Christian” minister on campus!! [/sarc]

She's supposed to lecture on math and science yet uses the occasion to talk about her sex life. My, what a totally self absorbed exhibitionist.

Indeed. Where are the ACLU and Barry Lynn’s “Americans United for Separation of Church and State” on this one?
