White House press spokesman Robert Gibbs on Tuesday dismissed Cheney's argument about Guantanamo, saying the prison had not made America safer, referring to the damage it had wrought on the US image abroad.
Image abroad is more important than public safety. Elections have consequences.

Don't mess with Cheney.

Baghdad Bob Gibbs is a fat-ass clown and buffoon.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
I’m glad Cheney is doing this. Gibbs is an obnoxious, pig-faced little creep.

“referring to the damage it had wrought on the US image abroad.”
You can fertilize your garden with that.
How much better is our image now? The One doesn’t seem to be getting a lot of cooperation from anyone. Of course, there have been so many machinations in the first 100 days that who could trust him?

how long before Gibbs brings up the Cheney gun accident thing? then you know Cheney is having an effect
To: Winstons Julia
Yes! The predominant image of the USA abroad is “that country with an unpredictable goofball for a president.”

I always liked Cheney. I can’t help it. I am a sucker for him. I never believed the lies like some of my friends did.

Good move by former Vice President Cheney.
He has put this administration on notice that
if something happens during their watch,
it’s THEIR fault.
They could have kept in place the policies that
have kept us safe these last years ........but NOOOOO.

ROFL he is isn't he. And just like the rest of this administration, the man cannot speak. If any one of us gave a simple oral report in school, using their speaking skills, we would have failed the entire course! NONE of them can speak.
Ok there are a couple, on the pundit side of the administration who cannot stop! They just yammer on and on and don't let others have a say, even when it is someone elses turn to respond. But those are the dncmedia wing of it.
