A friend of mine warned that the April 15 tea parties may be infiltrated by the left. Indeed, it would be easy to subvert the tea parties by either using them as Trojan horses to promote conservative-sounding candidates whose intent is to infiltrate, or at least compromising with the left or New World Order.
How do we defend ourselves?
First we must identify the enemy, which is not necessarily a person or group. It is just as likely to be an idea or trend. Currently there is an insidious trend for even "conservative" media and politicians to avoid mention of vital issues. By ignoring these issues, they give the left and the globalists a paved highway for implementing their agenda.
What are these issues?
United States sovereignty and illegal immigration must head the priority list. No matter how far left we go, with loss of states’ rights, socialist healthcare, gun control, same-sex marriage, abortion, euthanasia, etc., bad policies can still be reversed. However, amnesty for millions of outlaws and the absorption of the United States in a multinational government would be almost impossible to reverse.
If an amnesty policy is approved by Congress, as many as 20 million (or more) outlaws would be eligible for citizenship, many of them felons and drug dealers. Of those who emigrate for economic reasons, most fail to understand why their countries were too poor to support them in the first place.
I have met emigrants from Soviet Russia, for example, who, while praising our abundant life, think we are backward socially, failing to realize that socialist policies ruined the economy of their home country. A Brazilian lady told me she came here to escape poverty. Yet she spoke of Hillary in glowing terms. A German ESL (English as a second language) teacher I knew was thrilled she could afford a large house and admitted she couldn't have afforded a home of her own in Germany. Yet she complained constantly to her students about having to pay health insurance out of her own pocket. She wanted that for free and considered America to be a backward country because of that.
Most of the amnestied immigrants would be Mexicans. Now the Mexican Constitution says the State is responsible for the economy. Most Mexicans grow up with that idea, the implementation of which is the single greatest source of poverty in that country.
Pemex, for example, the state-owned oil company, is banned from allowing foreign companies to help explore for, drill and refine domestic oil resources. As a direct result of this policy, oil fields lie fallow for lack of advanced technology.
Tragically, the average Mexican family that emigrates to the United States to escape poverty caused by the lack of free-market principles is a lot like a family in any U.S. city that has been indoctrinated by schools and media to believe that capitalism is evil and that management is the enemy of labor. Thus, "conservatives" who say newcomers will develop such an appreciation for the American way of life, and that they'll learn to cultivate freedom, are sadly mistaken. Having a taste for fish does not make one a fisherman or a seafood chef. The voting habits of new émigrés from poor countries, along with personal experiences with them bear this out. While enjoying the fruits of what is left of our free market, they believe it must be abolished. A massive influx of people indoctrinated in this ideology could permanently tip the scales toward Marxism and ensure Democrat and/or RINO victories indefinitely – if they are not already ensured.
As for the absorption of the United States in a globalist or New World Order alliance (of the kind George W. Bush flirted with), such would no doubt start with a three-way government with Canada and Mexico, both of which are a hotbed of the nanny state mentality. The regulations (and later laws) that would inevitably ensue from such an alliance would crush whatever spirit of freedom, free enterprise, and even free speech, that might be left by the time such an alliance materializes.
A glimpse of what would happen to free speech is provided through author Mark Steyn’s treatment by the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, which barely came short of prosecuting him for writing, in a book, that Islam is incompatible with the Western way of life. Or by the heavy fines levied against Canadians who dared to suggest in public that homosexual behavior is incompatible with the Bible or carries a health risk (Seventy percent of AIDS cases in America are found in male homosexuals).
When one considers all of these things, it is amazing that conservatives have not by now recognized the danger and made the issues of sovereignty and illegal immigration paramount.
We have a chance to refocus, however, on July 4, when tea parties are again scheduled around the nation. To succeed, we the people must focus on three things: 1) purging out RINOs and re-educating fence riders (perhaps some can be persuaded to take a stand against illegal immigration); 2) reversing illegal immigration and throwing out pro-invasion politicians; 3) identifying all candidates who are liable to subvert U.S. sovereignty, particularly those associated with the CFR, Trilateral Commission, Bilderbergers, and the lesser known International Democrat Union. Of course, we must also urge people to defeat any politician who voted for the bailout.
Imagine you're on a train heading for a collapsed bridge. Some passengers say “let's move to the rear of the train." Others say “let's ignore it." A miniscule minority says: “let's stop the train." What would you choose? Focusing on education, abortion, marriage definition, and such issues is like moving to the back of the train. You'll be the last one over the precipice, but over you’ll go.
The bridge is just around the bend. The laughter is dying down. It's time to stop. It's now or never.

Just wondering if his friend is a Bircher too, cause it sure sounds like it, though I haven't heard of one documented case of leftist hijacking tea parties are even participating in it unless you count the CNN reporters.
I had an Alex Jones robot come to my office a few days ago telling me that the Tea Parties were the product of Alex Jones types, i.e., conspiracy evangelists.

Lay off being a pot-basher...to your probable surprise, not all of us are left-wing America haters. I for one manned a TEA Party table gathering signatures & passed out CD's as a volunteer (I was asked by one of the main guys in charge of the event) & I carry around a 20-yr old hemp wallet that I bought @ a head shop in Memphis.

Back in the 1990's I subscribed to The New American magazine for several years, & I have a deep respect for their patriotism, their belief in the goodness of America & the Founding Fathers, & its Christian history. IMO, it is a terrific magazine that everyone who calls themselves "conservative" should read.
