Former Vice President Dick Cheney will appeal a CIA decision denying his request for the release of memos he's contended are crucial to proving the success of "enhanced interrogation techniques" of detainees.
Cheney's office released a two-sentence statement reacting to the denial, "The Obama Administration has denied Vice President Cheney's request for the declassification of two documents that provide information about the effectiveness of the detainee program. Vice President Cheney is preparing his appeal to this denial."

In the light of the blatant Pelosi lies even the liberal lefties must see Cheney credible, although, the Commies won’t admit it.
That is exactly what the GOP needs. One of the good things about January 20th is that it freed the GOP from the George "Please-Let-Me-Lay-Down-While-You-Kick-Me-Some-More" Bush approach to controversy.
Somehow, late at night, while reading the Sermon on the Mount, "Turn the other cheek" got twisted in W's mind into "please slap my followers around and kick 'em in the arse, ---a little harder is just fine."
In refusing to defend himself from abuse and falsehoods, he refused to defend us from the same.

Yes, who made the decision not to release the documents. The controlling Office of Primary Responsibility? So Obama didn't directly make the decision to withhold the documents? It figures - but he's Pres--ent!

When GWB tried to speak spontaneously, he came across as a feisty rube. Cheney, on the other hand, contested his opponents with class and eloquence. Anyone who thinks Bush was eloquent is delusional.
Bush won the war on terror and I’m so glad he & Cheney were at the helm during that period of history. But he lost the hearts and minds of the middle of the political spectrum.
He allowed the media to redefine what Republicans are in the way the media wanted to portray them. In that sense he was a terrible figurehead for his party.
