SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Governor Jon M. Huntsman Jr. will resign and accept an appointment as ambassador to China, ABC 4 has confirmed.
A press conference has been called for Saturday morning at the White House to annouce the appointment.

No. When the Republican politburo completely blackballed the candidate I think most qualified to be president, and then refused to count my family's votes in the last election cycle, they left me.
You need to wake up to the true condition of your party before it's too late.

We need a viable party apparatus in order to fight against and take back our republic from the Marxist/Stalinist left that has taken control of the Democrats and sending out their agents to hijack control of the GOP. Third party is an ultimate waste of time for Conservatives because all it does is assure complete control for the Dems come election time. Sure, it’s an alternative to vote on principles, but as long as you have NO seat at the table of power, you’re just pissing into the wind. We need to focus on having a strong SECOND party to oppose them. Otherwise, you’re not doing anything to help.
I didn’t even GET to vote in the Presidential primary because there WAS no serious, qualified Conservative candidate left on the ballot. Fred Thompson was already gone. First time in my adult life I cast no ballot in a Pres. primary.
And I do indeed recognize the condition of the party and why the cancer of liberalism must be excised from the GOP.
But as we’ve had this discussion many times, it would be perpetually disingenuous to assert the AIP will ever be able to elect people to office to make a difference. Third party movements in this country don’t go anywhere. Because once the left has absolute control of the GOP, it’ll be as easy as swatting a gnat to take out your little protest show. Think about it.

This brings a governorship into play that a CONSERVATIVE can win and rids us of another RINO. Win-Win situation as far as I am concerned. Let’s hope the rest of the RINOS go over to the enemy as well. Start with Steele, Powell and the Maine snow queens.
This is what happens when we accept RINO’s in the party. They are useless to us and will turn in moment’s notice to socialism.
The best thing that can happen is that all the weak hands get kicked out of the party.
