"Romney is smarter and more accomplished than Palin, and just as good-looking?"

I'll never ever vote for Romney and the GOP have left us in a position where there is absolutely nothing to lose this next election. If Palin runs I'm supporting her because of her honesty, her integrity, and those pesky core conservative principles that people in the Romney camp are uncomfortable with. We've had enough of soft rich Republicans who change their values more ease than they change their underpants.

Dan Quayle the victim of everything negative said on this website about the MSM. Quayle decried the false ideas being planted about the single mother. The picture of "Murphy Brown" a fictional sit com character, planning her entry into motherhood may reflect some truth about a few women. This on a career well established professional woman- with lots of cash to hand off bringing up a child, by nannies.

The overall truth was and is, that many single moms are often hard put to enjoy, what should have been their right. Money does not grow on trees. This is the time to pick and choose, not be stuck with responsibilities without a partner.

As for Governor Palin let the MSM sneer. I take no pleasure in the plight of Nancy Pelosi to be truthful, but guess who is the most comfortable at this time.

That makes her an easy target for Democrats and Republicans, who enjoy running against her.

The only thing is she is the continuing target of the idiot Globe columnists of the world who continue to denigrate her and publish lies as the truth.

I don't think a one has ever defended her.

All you have to do is look at the Kennedys with their rapes, murder and drunkenness, AlGore's progeny who likes to race a Prius (and how metrosexual is that?) while smoking dope, AlGore himself who likes to tell others how to live yet spends three thousand dollars a month in utilities in his own house.

Then there is Biden who drove a man to his grave by claiming he was drunk when HIS WIFE DROVE OUT IN FRONT OF HIM. Yet to the day the guy died Biden was still out there, riding his dead wife to victory.

These idiots on the left have so much more baggage (tax cheats, philanderers, crooked lobbyists, etc.) that if the press really wanted to Quaylify or Palinize them too it would be so easy.

But that will never happen.

Fact is, Dan Quayle is not Dan Quayle. He is a intelligent conservative upstanding guy who got the “Palin” treatment, same as Palin is getting the “Palin treatment”.

I would prefer quayle over palin as president.

The line Palin walks as a mother of five and new grandmother continues to trip her up as a presidential candidate.

Trip her up??? Foolishness...Those are some of her assets...She's just like (most of) us...We can relate to her and she can relate to us...

She may not be my first pick but she'll be miles ahead of anyone the RNC will dredge up...

Everyone is piling on Sarah Palin, even though she will never be president of the United States.

Does this chick imagine herself to be Nostradamus or something? Just why does she think she knows the future?

P got to personally shake her hand and talk to her today. I told her I was proud of her, and her family. She was nice and sincere, and yes, she is a beautiful woman!

Wow. I haven’t seen the libs this scared since Reagan was in the Whitehouse. They’ve been at it nearly a year and she’s still standing. IMO, she’s going to crush them when she gets her turn.

The writer of the article didn’t take into account a number of things as many GOP handicappers are not. First and foremost the GOP electorate of 2008 won’t be the same in 2012.

How will those who have reached age 18 between Dec ‘08 and primary time 2012 vote? How will those young ladies vote that were too young in ‘08?

How will disaffected Obama voters/Dems vote in ‘12? How about sorely disappointed Hillary voters? As the poll numbers rise among pro-lifers who will they line up behind?

Personally, Palin is the only GOPer who will motivate me to move from independent to the GOP to vote for her in my state’s primary in 2012.
