That bunker is probably something left-over from the cold war, and definitely not a “secure location.”

Gee, a secret bunker under the residence of the VPOTUS.

And all this time we thought it was a mild-mannered basement. Is there a sliding bookcase or something?

Biden is the national govenment's proof that Bozo was cloned, but this really is a "whatever" revelation.

It does, however, spark the hope that one day he'll be goofing around and the door will just accidently close while he's inside.

If the lock is "complicated," he could be there for a while before Leno runs out of material.

What a putz. Good Lord, I can’t believe these f’ing morons are running the country. What in the name of everything that is holy, were people thinnking when they voted these nitwits into office. And it doesn’t just stop with the President and the Vice President, it allllll the way down through the chain of command, or shall we say, the chain of ascension.

Yeah, and two fire poles labeled "Barack" and "Joe" and God only knows what kind of tights they end up wearing by the time they hit bottom.

In December 2002, neighbors complained of loud construction work being done at the Naval Observatory, which has been used as a residence by vice presidents since 1974.

If it was just upgraded in 2002 it's not a cold war relic. Maybe not something super top secret, but it was certainly not something he should have been blabbing about.

So he’s given away the location of his own secret hidey-hole, ay. What a doofus.

Aw well, he’s just made the game of hide-and-seek much easier, if the day ever comes that he has to make like Saddam Hussein and scuttle down his Spider Hole. Finding him will be much more efficient.

Its not the real, secret bunker. IT’s just the one they told him about.

Secret service agent on the phone “Hey chief, the VP asked where the secret bunker is. No sir! I’m not that foolish. I just told him it was in his basement and he went away.”

"It just keeps on getting better doesn't it.... "

The left and the MSM keep trying to make Sarah Palin into the next "Dan Quayle", when they should save their energy and give that title to Biden...he's already "Quayle-ized". Between his gaffes and commiebama thinking there are 57 states and they all speak "Austrian", I think we have the "Quayle Twins" in the White House.

The US Naval Observatory is a pretty cool place. There is a lot more there than just the VPs residence & office. Very historical PLACE.

US Naval Observatory

Personally, I have always thought the job as the VP was about the best gig one could ever hope to get. Lot of bennies, travel, meet people, etc.

My guess this is where V.P. Cheney was literally carried off to on 9/11.

How much national treasure in terms of engineering, dollars, logistics and continual operational procedures were thrown out the window with this slip of the tongue?

Yet, we are told Sarah Palin is a stupid country bumpkin, yet she has never uttered a syllable about her security briefings of the weapon systems on Alaskan Soil protecting us from a Russian onslaught from her Western Flank.

This national security asset has been compromised, it is now useless, how much money will be needed to be spent for a new similar location that cannot be brought on line overnight.

What is next from Biden RCS figures of the B2 or F22?

G_d help us.

Total transparency. Even secrets aren’t secret anymore.

There used to be a day when the Russians would have to get a female spy to sleep with and drug a target in order to get him to divulge info.

With Biden, all they have to do is to have a television camamra & pretend to admire him , hang on every word he says and they could get the codes to our nuke missle launchers.

(I LOVE your screen name)

Dan Quayle misspels a word and the MSM can’t stop talking about it, literally for years. Biden has FDR in the White House and appearing on television in 1929, and not a word of criticism. The gaffs just keep on coming, and the silence grows to a deafening roar. There is no better example than this to illustrate the bias and partisan corruption of the MSM.

“Democrats, the party of fools and idiots.”
_____________________
The evidence is overwhelming, yet 69,492,376 people voted for Obama and Biden, versus 59,946,378 for McCain and Palin. As Ronald Reagan charitably put it (to paraphrase) “it isn’t that the Democrats are ignorant, it’s just that they know so much which isn’t true”. The Democrats are: 1) ignorant masses who haven’t read a book in 35 years; 2) ignorant academics who have read all the wrong books; 3) trust-fund liberals who feel guilty and/or have never earned a dime of their own; 4) dim-witted entertainment “stars” who confuse singing a song or acting with intelligence; 5) a host of people with psychological disorders; and 6) dedicated enemies of the U.S.

Liberals are invariably anti-capitalist and opposed to the U.S. Constitution. Senator Bill Nelson (Socialist-FL) comes to mind. He opposed the Electoral College system devised by the Founders. He wants to disenfranchise about 21 of the smaller states by making their votes insignificant compared to a simple majority of the residents of “welfare” states and cities (CA, MA, NY, DC, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc.).

Conservatives are invariably for freedom, free enterprise, and the letter of the Constitution. The Second Amendment is just as important as the First Amendment, for example. Freedom of choice in one’s own medical care is more important than getting something for “free”. Individual responsibility is the key, versus the liberals “victim” oriented mentality.

So, the question is: how many of the 69,492,376 Obama voters are still happy? Unfortunately, most of them will probably defend Obama until the economy is in a depression, which will happen before Obama finishes four years.

Eleanor Clift, Newsweek magazine’s Washington contributing editor, said Biden revealed the location while filling in for President Obama at the dinner, who, along with Grover Cleveland, is the only president to skip the gathering.

I think all people should be tested before they vote for President, the same as we need to have people re-tested for driving after turning 65.

Maybe on the ballot it should state political positions: vote for democrats- abortions on demand paid for with your money, bailouts for corrupt and bankrupt major corporations, enlarged welfare rolls, decreased military spending, plain stupidity.
