I hope Cheney continues to speak out. Although the liberal media will portray him as the old face of the defeated Republican Party, the public will think otherwise because his words and thoughts are commonsense. Where are the other voices of the Republican Party, hiding in the bushes? Only by speaking out can we hope to change the Obama policy of softness and empathy for our enemies that are intent on destroying us.Obama is a very naive man as are most liberals.Perhaps when the Islamists slam him in his face for his weakness maybe he will wake up.Dick Cheney please continue the fight as our nation is currently at risk.

Dowd need to get married and have a couple of kids.

Do you really want to put that responsibility in her hands?

When indignants like this write these kind of juvenile, completely immature articles you know, they know Cheney is absolutely right. This prick, as well as Moreen Dowd are mortified about how Cheney calling for fairness and the truth will destroy them, the left, and their precious Obama.

The truth, fortunately will devastate liars at some point.

No kids should be subjected to a drunken idiot of a mother like MoDowd. I suspect she puts her first drink down the hatch before breakfast.

Cheney was my choice for President as well. I love it when you see that twinkle in his eye because you know he is on a roll and it is going to be good.

It is so great for him to be standing up and none of this kumbyya that we keep hearing how we need to change to become Dem-lite. Cheney has put an end to that nonsense.

Awesome picture! That’s a keeper. Perrier!

Dick Cheney is doing a tremendous service for his country in forcing the Democrats onto the defensive. I wish the grownups were in charge again.

Actually, I jumped on this author with no good reason. I read "Moreen Dowd" and assumed the writer was following suit. My bad.

However, the fact remains the over all premise of my statement about these Cheney haters is justified.

The rest of the GOP must grow a pair like Cheney has, if the party is to be salvaged.

Remember, “speaking truth to power” and “questioning authority” were very popular just a few months ago.

I fear Chaney will be proven right. Other attacks were thwarted thanks to the tireless efforts and vigilance of the previous administration. Obama's 'defense' is to just hope that terrorists will abandon their diabolical plans and change their attitude toward the US.

There is no doubt Cheney is right. Feel good appeasement policies have not worked against radical Islam for 1300 years, it ain’t going to start working now.

A recently published poll of so-called Republican insiders found 57% of them thought Cheney was hurting the party. Will the real Republican Party please identify themselves?

We’ll see how much the campaign was based on lies as we see the degree to which Obama ends up carrying forward Bush’s policies. But the better campaign won. A sufficient number of Americans were talked into being fed up with Bush’s government.

Obama has a wonderful ability to attract a following. The Democrats are lucky that his background made him liberal-leaning.

“Well, that settles it. Maureen Dowd thinks Dick Cheney should shut up. Cheney, she writes, is “batty,” has “numskull ideas,” and “still loves torture.”

So typical of lefties. They really are deranged haters, and that’s about all you can say. Oh, and their arguments are sooo good, no?
