Well, dictatorial-types of governments have *always* been able to “get things done”. That’s their true forte...
I supposed that should make people happy now, since we’re moving that way. We’ll *finally* be able to “get things done” here in our country, too... :-)

Well...it’d probably suck if it were your theme park [or factory], LOL, but you have to wonder (in this case) just how, on the path from idea to reality, this got so far.
Still, the Chinese are very interesting. I differentiate between the people and the government. In my experience, they have many admirable qualities, among which I’d list, very hard workers, very clever, and very devoted to family. Viewed from our standpoint, they do some goofy things, but I would posit that early Americans, especially in the Westward expansion, were quite equally goofy as viewed from more established and staid Britain. And there are probably many parallels between their current stage of development as a nation and where the US was then.
There are over a billion Chinese. I think they figured it out.

Well, that should be good news for many FReepers then. From what I’ve been hearing, most are convinced that he’s about to take over the country and completely remake it into that kind of dictatorship where “things will get done”...
As for me, I’ve always seriously doubted that Obama was that effective or could do 1/10 of what he’s accused of doing on this board... LOL...

I think too many people see the stuff like the youth corps and don’t realize that it’s the people AROUND him we need to worry about.
However, with their puppet deciding to take charge, I’m sure that all we have to do is hunker down and let him destroy himself minus dragging us all down with him.
Hitler would have amounted to nothing if not for Goebbels and Himmler. Hitler was simply the mouthpiece. If he (Hitler) had listened to his generals, then we would have lost WWII. However, Hitler believed his own press and took control of the army. Since the public and troops believed in Hitler, they couldn’t mutiny against him at all.
Zero is a good puppet, but as long as he does as he is told and advances the agenda. But since he seems determined to be in charge of it all, he’ll ruin himself and the Democrats.
All in all I don’t think we should get nervous until young teens are expected to go through ‘training,’ then start getting worried.
If Zero really had half the training and discipline of the Chinese politiboro, then I’d be worried, VERY worried.
