There IS NO "middle ground"!
3500 babies are murdered EACH DAY in the United States and until that ends there is NOTHING to discuss.

My daughter is in catholic school, and Notre Dame would have been on the list of prospect by default. It may have fallen off as we moved closer to college age, due to research, but now it’s definitely OFF the list.
We visited Notre Dame last summer and now I can’t stand to put on the t-shirt I purchased. Check out St Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. Excellent college in a small town not far from Pittsburgh.
I watched his speech and it was all about him. Notre Dame has brought shame upon istelf for having that poor soul addreess them. Evil abounds.
The applause Obama got from people who he had just slapped in the face was disgusting.
Obama wants anyone and anything that believes in God to fail.

I said almost the same thing in another thread. Just mind boggling. They actually booed the pro-life protesters.
You need to look at Ave Maria, St. Francis University in Steubenville, and the University of Dallas.
“Notre Dame Will Become Symbol of Pro-Life Catholic Dissent After Obama Scandal”
I think Notre Dame is going to become “The University of Indiana at South Bend.”
With all due respect to this author and others, this is a bit of a reach. It assumes that the alumni will abandon Notre Dame and not try to move them back to the teachings of the church. I’m not ready to acknowledge the death of Notre Dame’s Catholicism just yet.
"The commencement itself, if you watched it, was a spectacle of non-stop self-congratulation, supercilious flattery, and scripted self-justification. Eloquence was not to be found, though every inane claim to the moral high ground received thunderous applause, until even the robed dignitaries placed carefully behind Obama began to look bewildered."
Same old jive from the One.
Hand jive
Doin' that crazy hand jive
Notre Dame's Kabuki Dance with Obama and the Culture of Death
Abortion means or dead. There is no middle ground.
Obortion Obama, the spinning machine.
** It assumes that the alumni will abandon Notre Dame and not try to move them back to the teachings of the church.**
But alumni has witheld over 14 million $$.
To me that’s huge. I pray they keep it up!
..he also laughed cynically that Obama 'said a lot of the right things when he was trying to impress folks, but we know where he really stands.'
I'm impressed with Baldwi(the good Baldwin sibling)
How does being orthodox constitute dissent? Or do I misunderstand the title?
“How does being orthodox constitute dissent?”
Other than the bishop of South Bend, in whose diocese this all occurred and who acted as he deemed appropriate, as was his right, none of the politicized bishops who attacked ND and Fr. Jenkins are even remotely “orthodox” in their ecclesiology. These meddlesome bishops who decided that the canons mean nothing have done great damage to the Latin Church in America.
Even if there was “middle ground,” supporting infanticide by voting against protections for born-alive victims of abortion in Illinois wouldn’t be anywhere near it.
