The House on Thursday rejected a Republican call for a special investigation into whether Speaker Nancy Pelosi was told in September 2002 that the C.I.A. was subjecting terror suspects to waterboarding.
On a mainly party line vote of 252 to 172, Democrats upheld a ruling that a request for a special panel to look into the conflicting accounts of Ms. Pelosi and the intelligence community did not merit special treatment, but should be proposed as regular legislation.

Treasonous, low-rent, low-life, m’effing bastards.
News media...time to do the voodoo that you do....hound her till she cries.....and that eyeliner runs. (I can dream)
I wonder how long it will take for “regular legislation?”
Can you say Coup d’Etat?
Oh, yes... tamp it down now... the rubes will never notice. Think so, dems? You SURE about that??
I really think the wash compost and nytimes are on Obama’s and the marxist dems payroll. The break stories that are in Obama’s campaign of lies.
Actually, I’d rather have them stalling stalwart Republican attempts calling them to task for assinine behavior rather than actually enacting something our asshole-in-chief (hey, I coined a new acronym - AINC) can sign....
I am beyond disgusted. The dems said this repus INQUIRY move was “PURELY PARTISAN.” Can you freaking believe the raw nerve and audacity?
LOL that is a good screen name. I remember a heiltothechiefNOT handle, when clinton was in.
American politicians dive into despotism (lawmakers above the law)
Film at..... well never
Shouldn’t stop one Republican from continuing to fight for the TRUTH. NO PRISONERS!
Well then all of those dems who are in republican seats should expect to lose their seats in 2010.
Had this been a Republican, the next words you would hear would be:
*gavel* ‘Goodmorning. This inquiry will now come to order ...’
bout time thre pubs showed what they are for. it is too late sadly...
Yep -- What you said.
It just confirms what was only suspected, Elected officials can’t perform special investigation due to the fact that they are so used to lying that it would be a waste of tax payers money and would no know the truth if it kicked their teeth out.
If the CIA lied to Congress as the Speaker of the House has asserted, then congress must investigate them. Why are the Democrats now refusing to hold the agency accountable for misleading America’s elected representatives?
Congress has an obligation to hold the CIA accountable for this outrageous offense.
