If Hitler helped with the “Beetle” then I am sure that Barry will come up with the “Roach.”

The truth is that Adolf Hitler knew more about economics and manufactoring than Chairman Bo will ever know. But just as Hitler thought he knew more than his military leaders, so does Chairman Bo. The Volkswagen will be around long after the BOcar is long dead. I have no doubt that all Negroes will be promised two BOcars and forty acres of land in the next election.

I just spent a week putting 900 miles on a rented Toyota Prius just to try it out.
If Zero thinks Detroit can design something better, he needs to put down the crack pipe.

BTW, my dream car is a '71 HemiCuda.

Europe might just be thinking about the last time a head of state dabbled in car design, in their backyard. It didn’t turn out too well.

It may not have come out well for Europe, but Volkswagen, made a bundle and still exists today.

I knew Hitler came up with the basic specifications for the Volkswagen, but I thought Ferdinand Porsche did most of the heavy lifting on the design.

And while it was pretty bare-bones, the VW was a decent car. Which is a lot more than we’ll be able to say about the Obamobile, especially given that he doesn’t have anyone of the caliber of Dr. Porsche at his disposal.

I still think a turbine-electric hybrid is the way to go. You could save so much weight with the engine and fuel storage that the car could be safer than existing models.

Obama's car will never reach the same significance as Hitler's.

Barack is also the sound it makes.

Rumor has it that he's planning to use his limo to run them down.

The Beetle was designed and engineered by Ferdinand Porsche. IIRC it was the first auto with torsion bar suspension. Small wonder indeed.

* I am not saying that Barack Obama is Hitler, just that they have a similar propensity for vehicular design.

I am.

Guessed it, but then I’d read a book about the VW’s history sometime back in the 70s.

Hitler did not design the VW Beetle. He drew a picture of one of these and said make it like that:

Earlier I was looking at Youtube videos of the Peraves Ecomobil and Monotracer. They are green vehicles that are also very high-performance and fun.

Here's a video on their website.

Jeremy Clarkson did a small blurb on the Ecomobil a few years back, too.

I could groove on one of these, except they cost upwards of $60k.

If the flimsy Prius is any measure, Obama, Waxman, and the rest of the Insane Democrats are going to murder, maim, and seriously injure millions of Americans.
