I’ve been saying this is what the polls have been saying for a while. The Democrats haven’t been gaining. Less and less conservatives are identifying themselves as Republicans.

We're getting close. Maybe 4, 5, or 6 months away---but there WILL be some stupid(er) policy or decision by this un-American bunch that pushes people over the edge, a combination of the "drill here, drill now," the tea parties, and the anti-illegal immigration movements all rolled into one.

We're also getting close to SOME conservative (maybe not one really on the national radar yet) becoming the lightning rod for this reaction.

Conservatives are holding their own, while the ranks of independents morons who voted for Obama and now regret it have skyrocketed.
