The main constitutional job of the President is to protect the US from enemies as Commander in Chief. Instead of concentrating on that function, the presidency has evolved into one of policy making and social engineering. Health care reform, Cap and Trade etc. are not what the presidency is supposed to be concentrating on. If the President of the US was chosen specifically for their ability and commitment to keep the US safe, the political process would be much different, and in my opinion we’d be much better off. The presidency should never have become inflated to the point it is today.

No. Lets appease them and given them MORE aid. That will show them the error of their ways and they’ll stop. [/sarc]

one intended to strengthen the United States and its allies in halting proliferation”.....

The Democrats are always saying they're going strengthen this, or strengthen that. Just once, I'd like to see some reporter ask how, exactly, will that strengthening be accomplished. Make the 'Rats give us specifics.

I'm dreaming ... I know.

Obama wants this just like every other ultra-leftist anti-nationalist.

I never really believed Democrats were anti-war. They were anit-Republican. When they were all sitting on the side line making it difficult for President Bush to do things on the international stage they never thought about what was going to happen when a Democrat got into office.

They can attempt to blame the previous administration all they want, but if one of those insane nations actually uses one of these devices the blame will be theirs.

Unfortunately that will be of little comfort to the millions that will die in the initial attack and the war that follows.

Just like the so-called “Anti-War” Vietnam protesters weren’t anti-war, they just thought that we should have been fighting on the side of the Viet Cong.

I want everyone to note that North Korea’s does have weapons of mass destruction as noted by the Obambi White House.

Should any military action become necessary in 2013 when there’s a Republican in the WH please note that Democrats confirmed the presence of nuclear weapons in North Korea.

If he thinks that waterboarding to save American lives is unacceptable then he must think that retaliatory bombing is also unacceptable. I can see how Lil Kim and other assorted enemies would come to this conclusion.

Bombs away, eh Zero?

You know, I agree with you but I don’t say it much - but I fear that we are on a path to destruction from which we’ll never recover.

I believe that the anti-religious vacuum promoted by the liberals will be filled by those who beliefs are so strong they will die for them.

I wonder if the ACLU will enjoy being ruled from a mosque. it’s always seemed to me that if they and those like them get what they want they won’t be allowed to complain any longer and I’m not sure why they haven’t figured this out.
