“Who cares? If someone wants to be gay then that’s their business. Just don’t ask me to pay for it or expect me to afford anyone special considerations for it.”

That’s my approach. I’d add, “And don’t tell me about it, and don’t pout like a spoiled little 3 year old when I don’t give a crap or even notice.

No, I haven’t altho I did click on the website recently showing that Up Your Ally festival in San Fran. That was enough for me.
However, I can well imagine the media can sanitize virtually anything and make it palatable to the American public. I would never have imagined most of what passes for entertainment these days.

The U.S. homosexual community claims that 10 percent of the population is gay. I believe the figure is lower, more like 1.5 to 5 percent. San Fransisco, the U.S. gay mecca, claims a a gay population of 15.4 percent, while Los Angeles claims 5.6 percent. States with the largest gay populations are:

1 California 5.2% 1,338,164
2 Florida 4.6% 609,219
3 New York 4.2% 592,337
4 Texas 3.6% 579,968
5 Illinois 3.8% 345,395
6 Ohio 4.0% 335,110
7 Pennsylvania 3.5% 323,454
8 Georgia 4.3% 278,943
9 Massachusetts 5.7% 269,074
10 Washington 5.7% 266,983

Some states, like Texas, rank high biggest because their general population is high.

This data and more comes from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey. Link below:

As someone who suffered the “attentions” of a pedo for 5 years, I cannot conjure adequate words to express my rage over *that*.

Now, guess what I have to say about *them*.

I’m only 47 and I can’t believe my own eyes, either.

Things have gone literally to Hell.

I have lived too long.

Might you also want to add:

Good article.

My attitude about homosexuality has changed, oh I still think it wrong, vile, putrid, and disgusting.

I just no longer am overly concerned with trying to legislate morality when it comes to this (and abortion).
We can’t count on legislation to fix any of this. Not at this time anyway. All we can do is beat liberal politicians at the polls. The Judiciary is also one of the main culprits, and citizens have little recourse against them.
When the people in certain states pass referendum in defense of marrige, the activist courts overturn the will of the people.

The thing that angers me the most? It is taught in the public schools, mass brainwasing at taxpayer expense.

Parents of public school children must protest, of course a parent must care first. In this forum I know I’m preaching to the quior(sp), but without the parents opposing schoolboards (as bad as it is now), it will get worse.

I just turned 52, and I can’t believe it either. I grew up in a world that was totally different from what we have today, my sons think I make stuff up! It’s sad really, it wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t a bad place for a kid to grow up. I despair for my potential grandkids.

Who cares? If someone wants to be gay then that’s their business. Just don’t ask me to pay for it ....

The trouble is that we are all paying for it. The traditional family (Dad, Mom and the kids) is the backbone productive unit and moral foundation of our free society. Liberal policies and the homosexual agenda are focused like a laser on destroying this kind of family. The old cop-out "What two people do in private is none of my business" has never really been true. Evil behavior bleeds out on everyone....especially now, when the media and the government is sanctioning it.

Truly annoying is more like it. As if I too should be obsessed with their abnormal behavior 24/7/365.

"Who cares? If someone wants to be gay then that’s their business. Just don’t ask me to pay for it or expect me to afford anyone special considerations for it."

So what if someone is a rapist, a murderer, an animal sexual abuser, child molester or any other perversion you can imagine. Just don't ask me to pay for it or allow anyone any special considerations for it, and as long as those involved are consenting.

See how that works? You can adjust the moral codes of a society to be whatever is made popular at the time. After all, they are "born" that way, it's normal.

Why do you think groups like NAMBLA are always pressuring "lawmakers" to lower the age of consent, and give children absolute control over their "rights" to decide what they think is moral and good for them? That group and others think a child should be able to decide who, when and what they should have sex with from the moment they become sexually aware.

The population can be made to think murder is righteous and good. All it takes is a few generations to warp the minds of the young, much like how Islam brainwashes Muslims from birth to think murdering non-Muslims in order to advance Allahs cause of making the entire world Islam is a duty they were born to serve and gives them reward in Allah's heavenly brothel.

I grew up with no fear of riding my horse alone through endless miles of mountains.

Nobody freaked out if I didn’t come home til after dark.

No stranger ever bothered me...only the pedo uncle.

These days, I go to Wal-Mart like I’m going into enemy territory, even in the day time because the ~huge~ formerly ritzy McMansion development they built behind it is now Section 8 housing.

My family would go on week long vacations and not even bother locking the house doors and -nothing- ever got stolen.

Now everybody here in “Hillbilly Heaven” locks their doors....even if they’re only driving a mile to the local general store....mostly because liberal “outlanders” have moved in nearby.

*Their* kids are disrespectful vandals and miscreants.

IIRC, the 10% figure came From Alfred Kinsey (U of Indiana) out of surveys that oversampled prison populations. Kinsey had a very clear personal agenda. His numbers have been long discredited by legitimate social scientists.

The likely figure is in the 2% range.

Murder, rape, child abuser etc are all deemed to be illegal. Being gay isn’t. And yes, there are deviant gays just like there are deviant blacks, hispanics or yes, even white christians.

Yes, you’re absolutely correct. If I had children, I would have mentioned that first and foremost. Since I don’t have any, I hope you understand my oversight. I appreciate your reminder.

I understand. My own kids are grown. I think teaching kept me very aware of the issue. I don’t care what anyone does in their own home (between consenting adults) and in fact I have a gay member of my extended family who I love very much. I don’t wish ill for him (altho I would be thrilled if he changed). However, I think the whole sex as recreation trend is damaging to our kids (I use our kids as in the kids in our culture) and I think the whole gay trendiness is just another brick in that particular wall.

"And yes, there are deviant gays just like there are deviant blacks, hispanics or yes, even white christians."

Homosexual behavior was illegal at one time too.

All it takes, as we have seen, is a law to be changed when a lobby group in society becomes strong enough, and have enough infiltrators in government to change it. Just watch, rape murder and child molestation are next.

ALL gays are deviants, not just some of them. Homosexual acts are deviant and unatural.

And if you don't follow Christian teachings, you aren't a Christian. Can't be an unrepentant sinner and still call yourself a Christian.

Then until you are, don't go labeling who you think is or isn't a Christian.
