Have to agree with you there. If true or not true, they will use this to damage our troops. If true, court martial and prison are very appropriate.

The myth spun by the Left is that they were NOT prosecuted.

Meanwhile the "Sgt. Akbars" of the US military who delibrately fragged officers (as supported by nut jobs on the Left coast) did not get much exposure for their own crimes.

Not drinking. Not even sipping.

Oh maybe the lying about the chemlight.

The raping is a load of barnyard.

In the absense of any other info, and the lack of reporting by the US leftist press, and assuming “photos” even exist, I bet their photo shopped.

Even when there were no photos, the Left manufactured such images.

Even in England, traitors betrayed their uniform for "the cause".

Mirror photos 'not taken in Iraq' (Thursday, 13 May, 2004)

Photos which appeared in the Daily Mirror apparently showing abuse of an Iraqi detainee were "categorically not taken in Iraq", Adam Ingram told MPs.

But the Daily Mirror said Mr Ingram had "not produced incontrovertible evidence that the pictures are faked".

The paper's editor said "the pictures accurately illustrated the reality about the appalling conduct of some British troops"...

The editor later resigned. The photos showed a British soldier urinating on a non-prisoner. The soldier was also prosecuted. He should have been hung for treason.

I don’t believe this!!!!

Obama probably found out by some experts that the pictures were fakes (photoshopped, etc) and couldn’t release them as they would be exposed as such.

I don’t believe it. If the US Gov’t had those pictures and prosecuted the troops who’d led the prisoners around by the neck, then surely they would have prosecuted any who’d committed rape.

As you say, if these were true, the American media would be all over this!

Photoshop?

Lie?

At least one picture shows an American soldier apparently raping a female prisoner while another is said to show a male translator raping a male detainee. Further photographs are said to depict sexual assaults on prisoners with objects including a truncheon, wire and a phosphorescent tube.
Offhand, I'd have to say, "fake", the same type of fakery familiar to anyone who's been reading about terrorist orgs and their tactics (and "terrorist orgs" often includes various British, French, and other European and US media outlets). "Hey, Tony, I've got an idea, let's rape these prisoners and photograph it!" Pulllease.

So far, it appears only USA Today mentions it at all.

USA Today hates our military.

“This would explain why a ‘soldier’ in Darfur would stick his bayonet through a four year old girl then hold her body aloft as her blood rained down on him.”

I defy anyone to hold a 35 pound body on a bayonet over their head. I seriously doubt it is possible without having the body slide down the rife.

I don’t have the link readily available now but I do recall reading terrorists complaints with the ACLU and the abuses to which this article describes were (if accurate) committed overseas; not in Gitmo nor by our soldiers.

I don't know. That's what it said in the book.

Is 35 lbs normal for a four year old? I know a four year old and she is really little but I don't know how much she weighs.

"Don't ask, don't tell" has consequences.

Really? How are you going to write off the male on female rape allegation, then?

British newspapers are notoriously loose with the facts and light on fact-checking. I’d need a more reliable source than the word of one London tabloid before I believe this.

Original charges and allegations were reported here
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4894001/

There is only one mention of an MP having “sex” with a female detainee. It does not say rape so it could have been consensual. Most likely it was since they knew about it and if it had been rape they would have prosecuted it.

The only rape of a child was done by an inmate.

IMO, this is Obama back dooring his way into showing the pictures to infuriate the public into more of BUSH’s fault syndrome which can be known hense forth as B.F.S.! Or just B.S. for short.

Obama wants the pictures out there so he can continue doing whatever he wants as long as people think it is as far away from Bush policies as they can get. It is deception at it’s finest through public slight of hand. he is getting around the CIA and taking the heat off them to save Pelosi.

It will certainly hurt the military, but then Obama does not want them in any position to challenge him anyway.
It does not work well with his “civilian security force” the blue shirts. AKA ACORN and left wing radical racists.
