It would help much if the headline matched Gates’ comment. The fact that this isn’t a crisis does not equate to NK not being a threat. A crisis requires immediate action. We have been working on the NK problem for at least 16 years and we have no answer. The answer will come when they give us a good excuse to bomb their nuclear and missile facilities and that will be that. I don’t see that happening for some time. But of course it will happen. The North Koreans are truly nuts.

Coal gasification was already practiced by nazi Germany, but gasoline production via the crude process is so much cheaper. Besides, what good is that beautiful black (or sometimes wiskey colored) liquid doing in the ground, unused? A waste of one of God’s many blessings of our country.
