Don’t blame the Church. A church should welcome all sinners in hope that they will repent.

Yes at DU they are calling it ‘domestic terrorism’ by a ‘Christist’ (whatever that is), not murder by a lunatic.

Tiller in church- what kind of church?

An atheist "church".A "church" which, instead of teaching the Ten Commandments, teaches the Nine Suggestions.

Murder is murder. This is indefensible.

You clearly haven't been paying attention.A "Christist" is anyone who refuses to worship Hussein.

Prayers to the family. Prayers to the pro-life community. Prayers to the Doctor who was a “murder” in his own right but hopefully found Jesus before he sees him at the gates.

I wont defend the killer, I wont pretend to be sorry t abortionist is dead.

No one has the right to take another life, Not the guy who killed the Doctor, not the Doctor who killed so many unborn.

God works in mysterious ways.

“A church should welcome all sinners in hope that they will repent.”

Wrong. A church should expect repentance and the living of the Christian life, because Jesus expects believers to live their repentance. He often told new believers, “Go and sin no more.” Had Tiller been a true Christian, he could not have worshiped on Sunday and killed God’s children on Monday. That is blatant hypocrisy and his ELCA congregation should have excommunicated him. As St. Paul wrote: “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Satan: What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?” (2 Corinthians 6:14,15).
Christian churches have become very slovenly in Christian discipline, and Jesus expects better from His followers: “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet and then turn and tear you to pieces.” (Matthew 7:6) The Christian Church is not respected by the unrepentant sinners whom it coddles.

“An extremely liberal ELCA church. Do not think that all Lutheran churches would have an active, impenitent abortionist as a member in good standing. This Lutheran pastor (LCMS) would not.”

Nor would I as a Free Lutheran pastor. Only this morning the Gospel lesson for the Day of Pentecost proclaimed the words of Jesus: “When [the Counselor]comes He will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgement.” (John 16:8).

And in the sermon I said of this verse: “The world is in a frenzy trying to convince you and me that sin does not exist . . . it calls abortion a “woman’s reproductive health care procedure” and same-sex marriage a “civil rights issue.”

Come, Holy Spirit! Convict the world of guilt and set us aflame with the fire of Your love!

Why would “aborting” this scumbag be a dark day for pro-life? This was among the worst of the worst.

Need the toilet flushing sound Ken Hamblin played when the Karma Police did their job well.

The church members that tacitly approved of his actions, by their allowing his presence, needed to be there when justice prevailed.

Hey, in a round about way, it is possible it was an Obamacide. Sebellius needs Tiller gone, O needs Sebellius to not be too overly crooked, and O arranges for a church service killing, and everyone assumes it was a right wing extremist who did it, when it was a left wing extremist posing as a righty.

Well, O did have his homosexual lover from his black power church killed. The killer was never found, but that dead guy won’t talk about kissin’ O ever again.

As for Tiller, I agree with the previous poster that he was a paid assassin. He was a serial killer, a mass murderer. But he did not choose to kill adults, he chose those souls who should have been safest of all people, those still in the womb. He was a monster. I am not sorry he is in hell. The so called church he was in is a false church, as the Bible warns us about. He was a demon.

Psalm 139 “For thou didst form my inward parts, thou didst knit me in my mother’s womb. My frame was not hidden from Thee. In Thy book were written the days that were formed for me.”

Tiller ended lives that God started. I hope Tiller has to face every one of the people he killed. We cannot know what happens upon our deaths, how God judges us, but I hope that Tiller has to spend eternity paying for murdering each and every one of those innocent babies.

You sound like a bleeding heart liberal.

The estimates of abortion killings at the hands of Tiller range from 30,000 to over 50,000 covering three decades. I'm glad there is one less abortionist around to commit more killings. I don't condone murder, but Tiller's death means fewer abortions.

Roe v Wade may have made abortion legal. Doesn't make it moral or right. The abortion issue is the most divisive issue in America since slavery. IMO, its ultimate outcome has been far worse.

‘OK FOLKS...it is now time to come together on the “right”. As much as I do not like it when someone is killed, Tillers death is not what I am addressing here. The left will use this against the right (we are bad, terrorist, extremist, etc.). Our job is not to play defense, it is to NOT ALLOW them to box us in to begin with. You know they will try to lump us all together with the shooter. Be vigilant. Do not allow them to categorize us as one in the same!!! You now know how the game will be played, stand firm.’

Indeed. This is also not the first time an abortionist has been killed. I remember it happening at least once in the Clinton Administration. Of course the drivebys are going to go into a frenzy about how “terrible” all prolifers are and complain that even slight discomfort with abortion by anyone for any reason caused Tiller’s death. But the scientific evidence becomes clearer with every medical technological advancement that life begins at conception, regardless of whether anyone likes this fact or not. The prolife movement is here to stay. The driveby media and Planned Parenthood better get used to it because we’re not going to go away, regardless of the actions of an occasional fringe nut.

Yes, shame there weren’t men like Obama around then that could have helped us find the “middle ground” on slavery.

Yep, a shame. Instead, we had a president who interpreted the Constitution to suit himself, spent astronomical amounts of tax money on one-size-fits-all-big-government 'solutions,' pissed off half the country for generations, and got a lot of Americans killed in the process.

Sounds kind of familiar...
