He would have had to have averaged 56.7 MPH from the second he fired the shot to the second the police picked him up 4 hours later 170 miles away.

I’m not going to shed a tear for this monster but I do find it upsetting that his assassin chose a church on a Sunday morning to perform this deed. A church should be a holy place, not a sniper’s den. I hope they prosecute the killer to the fullest extent of the law. I understand what must have motivated this (much like the Slepian murder) but I don’t condone the killing of a man in church nor that anyone had to resort to violence.
